All about Bucklites and Selector's & 110's & 112's LTs and Slims ...

On the 2nd generation series, Buck dropped the 2 rear butt pins and metal spacer/ spring holder. Then added a plastic spacer with a lanyard hole. A useful feature. Thus making it even lighter. This happened about 1990. DM

Hi Armand!
I need a Red Bucklite.
rolf

Sorry, rolf but no can do... I might have a black one some where...

I would have to do some looking... If I ever get over to my storage unit...

I need 3 of every Bucklite they made... I have 3 grandkids and they all like Bucklites...

I have a lot more to find... That's for sure...   ...

I've seen a lot of red Scoutlites on the bay lately... Way to high for me... :( :o

lol! Armand!! I kid. :D You enjoy your knives!!
I can live with my Orange 422... barely.

Happy New Year!!!

My few Bucklites ...

View attachment 503974 The neat thing about the lanyard hole on the Bucklite is that it can be enlarged to accomodate a push pin release lanyard. You can have the safety of a lanyard with the convenience of removability. The best diameter is 3/16" although 1/4" will work.

Lycosa, I know but we have to have some fun... I just wish Buck would make some more Bucklites...

Looks like everyone still likes them and would buy some... Lot's of different color's would be GREAT...

I hope you find a Red one, soon...:thumbup::thumbup:

I'm still looking for more of the College ones and any advertising ones and
anything different than plain maroon, green or black... They are good but I
need them to be different... Like a name on the handle or blade...
Just pm me and point the way... Thanks

Thank you, armand for your kind words. :) :). I don't know anything about the Bucklites. Would you tell me please what the College ones are? Thank you.

Haebbie

Haebbie, the College Bucklites are from all the different Colleges all over the USA...

We all so call them Universities a place to get educated... Like your knife Slippery

Rock... Theres PENN STATE, Florida Gators and so on... I like your Slippery Rock knife...

Did you get that one from 110 Dave... :) ...

I'm not sure how many different ones are out there but I keep looking and find ones

that I didn't know about... ;) ;) ;)

Thank you, Armand, now I know more. Wherefrom you know that 110 Dave gave me the knife? I got it from him for hiking because of its low weight. But as a every good collector does: I cleaned it and put it into the drawer. ;)

Your Welcome Haebbie my friend... I know he had one and you went to his wedding...

So I figure he gave it to you or you brought it with you from Germany...

So did Dave give it to you... If so that was really nice of him...

:)

So Haebbie, did you get that Bucklite from 110 Dave...

By way, to day is 110 Dave Birthday... So Happy Birthday Dave...

Mike, I really like your Bucklites... The drop point is sweet... Do you have the Boxes for them...
I see one has brass rivets and one has stainless steel rivets... Well it could just be the pictures...
I should have bought those from you... along time ago... lol ... I need more College and
Advertising Bucklites now... Boy, it sure is hard to find 3 of each different ones...:eek::eek:

:)

Carried my old Bucklite today. Bought it for next-to-nothin' brand new in 1986 at Word Lumber Co.

The blade is not as tight as it used to be. But it still locks up tight. Handle's a little scratched up. Blade is looking good despite a lot of chipping and sharpening in the past.
