All in on jacks

I have come to the conclusion of late, that I am really fond of the two blade jackknife. Something about two blades, seems somehow special. Singles are fine, and stockman's as well, but two blades seems a perfect setup. This thread came to mind so I thought I would bump it up and add a photo or two for fun.

as a younger person I tended to gravitate towards single blade lockbacks or stockman patterns. My thinking at the time was why not get three blades instead of two. But nowadays in my minds eye the two blades jointed at the same end seem somewhat more elegant. I never really had any two bladed jacks until a couple of years ago, and they have really grown on me for whatever reason.

Great way to wake up in the morning - to see a line-up of such beauties! Very nice sitflyer! The #85 is definitely my favorite.

A favorite of mine, as well.

Jacks are my thing. I have 50 or so, mostly older American made.

This one however is my "All in one"

That beautiful Hibbard reminds me of my old Robeson.

Thanks. ;) Yours are great also, especially the Hibbard and Pal. You are going to drive me to search out more EO's, still can't cotton to bails though......

I here ya. I have about 5 with bails on them but mostly just collect Jacks and EOs mostly.

Growing up in a working class area, all men who had pants on had a pocket knife in them. And most of them had a small two blade serpintine jack. I don't know why, but most of the knives I saw in the early to mid 50's were of that type. Maybe 3 to 3 1/4 inches, a clip main and pen blade, in a serpintine handle.

Never tire of posting this. My grandfather's Case 62087, serpentine jack, 3 1/4" closed.

That looks very handy! I had not seen those before. I will have to keep an eye out for one.
You may want to contact Spark if you want this particular one... it's this year's forum knife and looks like its going fast. People have been receiving and posting them for a few days now. You can follow it all in this thread (also linked at the top of the forums) http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1070145-2013-BladeForums-Traditional-Forum-Knife-Pre-Order-thread

I love this thread. Here are a few more.
