All in on jacks

Good on you deskill, nice knives you have there my friend!

Looking back - I lost my Ebony Single bladed TC, -quite a significant photo as theres a connection with both of these knives with Charlie, and then Paul Hilborn, as I lost my single blade as mentioned, - Paul being the great guy came in and offered me a Ebony TC! SO ...he now owns the HJ next to the TC!

I agree, Trand, nice dark ebony on yours! I like my pic of the rust red, too. Best red covers I've seen.

Thank you Mike - and happy new year to you my friend!
Yeah...oh man the Case Vintage Red Bone - is one of THE best materials ever used, alongside Peachseed, Oh and then Stag, Oh yeah Bark Ivory..and.....
I have another old and pristine Case on its way to me, bought it - but didn't want it sent amongst the Xmas postal rush!! so hopefully on a safer journey!

Thanks Duncan and Happy New Year to you and Sue. You are right about all those wonderful natural materials, but the old red bone is, for me, somewhat above others.
I got a new one just before Christmas, I'll post some photos tomorrow.

Great looking Cases you have there Duncan! :thumb up:I used to own both of those about 10 years ago.

Yes it is, Barry just gave me a modified Stockman that he turned into a Jack knife. Wish I still owned the ones I let go but you can't keep everything.

Howdy Leadchop54 - mate of course I don't mind, Dwight Devine - Ulster- and you can count on ANY of DD's knives being absolute top notch!
The walk and talk of this beautiful old Grand-daddy Barlow is superb, and as you say, The bone is just fantastic, I believe Bone like this gets better with age, pretty much like Stag does - it gets a amber type of Mellow look to it - that's for sure.

I like the previous shot with just that wee bit of light making the colour in the bone just come to life!

Here is another couple of shots to give a good look at the bone in a more subtle light......

Simply gorgeous Duncan! Thanks so much for the info!! I'm on the hunt for one of those for my collection!
