I think that's part of it also. If they were $1000 each there would be alot less prepaid orders. When you top off at $300 or so, it's tempting to the larger percentage of collectors who don't have $1000 to spend sight unseen.

Per knife "promised"

Just trying to estimate the total value [loss] of this scam......

Hmmm was just doing the same thing, if every knife forum has this many people with unfilled prepaid orders it is a huge scam:eek:  Unbelievable:confused:

Just think, those are only the ones publicized. If I were a bettin' man, I believe the statistics would indicate the there are quite a few more. :(

I would bet on that. Some people wouldn't want to stand up and admit they've been taken by a con man - especially after so MANY explicit warnings from us "rednecks". :)

We may be windowlickers, but we are windowlickers with our knife spending money in our pockets NOT in Alan Blade's!!!

Two knives "were going out Monday". Did the two gentlemen get any shipping info?

Of course.....................NOT

My neck is currently red. . . .only cuz I mowed a half acre of lawn yesterday. . . .and didn't wear a turtleneck shirt. :D

And. . . . .I've never financed a tattoo. :D

How many of Mr. Blade's victims have actually filed a complaint with their local law enforcement?
For those who are in other countries or even a different state and think there is nothing they can do, WRONG!

Go to www.ic3.gov and file an on-line complaint with the Internet Crime Complaint Center (a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the National White Collar Crime Center).

By the way, does anyone have Blade's last know address, phone and web site? Just curious......
