If I recall correctly, it was one person making the alligation that Martyn benefited financially. Oh, and no one else here supported. How long ago was that ? Gosh, didn't Martyn address that here ? Uhhhhh. . . . .yes !

If you'll go back and read this thread, you'll see that Martyn was able to come here and participate. Unfortunately, Martyn's posts spanned the spectrum (calm to spastic) and his actions caused him to get banned.

Has anyone gone to one of these Gun shows where Blade claims he is still selling knives while NOT honoring his orders??!!

If hes showing at a gun show, then would it not be an idea for someone to go along and get some current contact info so they can 'place an order'?

This can then surel be passed on to law enforcement? I assume it would be federal jurisdiction due to the wide range of customer locals etc.

Allan never posted on BB that he was going to be selling knives at gun shows, just that he could go back to doing that if he was unable to sell through other means. If he can't sell knives to people through the forums then it is likely that he will return to the gun show circuit, but he may not start doing that for a long time. If there are people on this forum that go to gun shows in and around Washington state, they should keep an eye out for Allan.
 
many years ago i got one of allens blades from becks cutlery. i ask becks for allens # and address back then and was told send no money and ask for cod. i think 76 pages say it all about things. too bad he is a very gifted knifemaker. ......:(

No,the gunshows are not as profitable.Selling the knives over the internet is the better business choice,he can sell them,but not actually have to deliver the product.Basically,your paying for an imaginary knife.This business approach has worked out best. :rolleyes:
 
Now that the thread is locked on BB I hope that the members there will keep people here informed as to how things are going. That thread being locked and Allan being banned will just give Allan the opportunity to disappear, and a further excuse for not giving people what they are owed.

he makes an acceptable blade imho, now if ya want to see a real "gifted" rip-off artist/bladesmith go to the for sale custom knives section and look at the offerings from corkum, now imho that person is a little gifted, if he hadnt got all messed up taking folks money he coulda made a living at this,
 
He makes a good knife for less than he should be charging for it. That's probably part of the reason that he gets into the messes that he does.
 
I don't know if for some reason the search change after awhile, but I just went changed the link in that post. It should be okay now. I will check again in the future to see if it is still correct.
 
the original post now shows no results, and the quoted link comes up with 187 names. Are you saying he has had 187 fake names? maybe your cache needs to be emptied?
