the glass (ceramic) is made to let heat OUT, not like regular windows - lol

also, there's nearly 500 lb of cast iron soaking up heat, which it then radiates out...

the fan on top runs on heat/cold differential

Got home from work at 1700... Went to take a shower and get ready to go out (50 something°) figured this is perfect time to start pregaming. Currently on my 3rd bottle of Woodchuck Granny Smith Cider (Yeah I know not great to pre-game with) but just started moving to vodka. Shall be interesting evening.

DJ I have that same splitting axe, but mine is yellow. I haven't used it a heck of a lot, but liked it on the bit of wood that I did split with it.

I have a 4-pak of pounders in the fridge from a brewery in MN along with some Angry Orchard Crisp Apple. The MN beer is from Big Wood Brewery and is labeled as an American Pale Ale and named Jack Savage. I haven't tried it before or even seen it, so I'm looking forward to try it. It better be good though..........it was $10 for the 4-pak

I'm going to try grilling with lump charcoal again tonight. We will see if I do better than I did last night. I managed to almost put all my coals out last night when some smaller chunks fell through the grate and plugged the bottom holes in my grill. I sorted out all the smaller pieces tonight so they won't be there to plug it up again. I definitely noticed a taste difference using the lump vs the kingsford stuff.

Dubz - I have one of these and it works quite nicely once you've gotten the hang of it. I think you are gonna like it a lot. I also have some Flexcut carving knives, which I totally suck at using; they are still really nice carving knives. Flexcut also makes an excellent and fairly inexpensive strop kit for different blade profiles as well. Maybe for Christmas?

That was science not math! He must have gone to Germany!

He is home schooled and I must say that it seems like his parents are doing a very good job.

I've seen that strop before, it is nice. I have a few regular strops at home. A homemade one, one from the strop man, and a Flexxx strop. I've been wanting to get a coupe v scorps too, and perhaps some gouges.

There was a joke in a movie, about a guy. The guys were standing around talking about him and they were like "I hear he banged his teacher in 10th grade !" and the other guy said "yeah but he was home schooled sooo..."

You actually seem pretty darn squared away, especially for your age MM. I was most of a mess at 13.
