I figured You were a busy guy and it wasn't much of a priority. Still, it'd be nice to see it updated. I check it out sometimes though. I was just looking through there today or yesterday actually.
 
I should not have forced myself to sleep last night. I'm planning on going back to work tonight and now I can't sleep.

That looks pretty cool, just kind of pricey.. We are looking at getting both kids a tablet for XMAS. one is 5 years old the other is 7. right now we thinking we will get them kindle fires

Man id like to spend a couple hours over there, always more fun when you can stop whenever you want than when its a chore!!
 
WW you should look into that buck vantage pro. There have been several reported problems but s30v with micarta for low $$ just screams 'get me'. At least it did for me. Mine is centered, slices like a champ and yes the liners goes over pretty far but that doesn't bother me. I've really enjoyed it thus far. One of my first and still one of my favourite folders.

That does look like a great deal with that steel!! I just looked them up... One day ill pull the trigger on it, its now in my "saved for later" cart

If i was closer and could play with some of my knives... Id happily stack it all. except the millions of splinter sized pieces id leave from demolishing that wood :D

I need to put a chopping block down in the basement for the hell of it and start bringing wood home LMAO
 
Definitely grab one, WW. I can't believe how good Buck's S30V is. I carried and used it for a month before I thought, "Huh, it's still sharp, but I guess it could be sharper." Mine was also in great condition and came perfectly centered. I did, however, get mine at a local store and picked the one I wanted. My only gripe is that when I disassembled it to clean it up and lube the pivot, I saw the liners had some corrosion on them. I'm not sure what the liners are made of, but they may fail long before that blade does.
