The rack monster is calling my name loudly. I may even get 6 or 7 hours in tonight for a change. My tail is dragging after this week.

Word...do NOT choose grey as your chatroom color - everything I typed showed up in the typing box but magically disappeared into the background after I hit enter. DOH!
Man, snark is running on empty....I hate being the only one not drinking on a Friday night :moody:.
Started watching "lost"
Well that was a mistake, i watched 9 episodes straight without stopping.... Now im wondering if ill be able to stop watching at all before i finish all 6 seasons.
The thing is, the show is not GREAT..... its just filmed in a way that makes you NEED to know whats going on. They add just enough of "interesting" towards the end of each episode to make you start the next one. I could deal without all the flasbacks, which i know is what explains the characters and gives the story its meaning but really i just want to see what happens next, not what led them there.
I also didnt know this was a "fantasy" type show either. Not that that really plays a huge role with me either way. but if vampires, werewolves, or even dinosaurs pop up id prolly STOP watching it.
Whats going on now...
Man shipping is all screwed up recently.
I am a river store prime member, have been for years, always get my stuff in 2 day, unless i do next day or even local delivery then i get it same day if i order before 7am i think is the cutoff time ... anyway got a couple things from them that didnt show up today or yesterday and should have. I have never had an issue getting my boxes from them, this is a first.
Then I got a couple sheaths my buddies in Australia ordered from Azwelke, suppose to be here today/yesterday/friday anyway LMAO, they didnt show up.
All i got in todays mail is a ridiculous gas bill.
And now im reading a few guys have not gotten boxes from UPS this week because of a train derailment....
And its not even the holidays yet and shipping is already starting to SUCK.
Me and the normal mailman here are pretty cool buds, we have had a beer or 2 together after he got off work, he stops in "off his route" for a smoke break or on lunch sometimes just to shoot the $hit, My house is one of the last on his route but if i tell him its important he brings it first thing a lot of times, but i try not to abuse his generosity just to get a knife a few hours early... Still i might have to call his cell in the morning to check on the choppy.
Should be there by Monday, Tuesday at the lastest, tracking says it left Sacramento today...
i have more than once been "disappointed" with excessive times on River Store Prime deliveries "hey, i'm paying for this service", and complained at them, and gotten a $15-20 gift cert for my trouble :>
just saying

I have a Worksharp WS2000 that I think is great, but I stumbled across this (finally on the market!) on the jungle site today and - oh my! - was pretty blown away. Funny enough, one of the pics showed a BK-2 being sharpened. They must know their target audience well. I'll be keeping mine just the same, but now I kinda wish I'd waited for this one to be available. (cue Charlie Brown sigh) Rats.
