Almost time to know (2012 Case/Bose) colab gossip thread.

I was advised that my antique bone LC was shipped to me today. Gonna be a great weekend!

Man, this one really hurts!!!

Not being able to get the Tribal Spear hurt(tried, but could not open it at Blade that year), but not like having to miss out on this one will.

I won't ever be able to open a slip joint again unless it has a light pull. Bad right thumb, and surgery didn't help. Kerry and Rick fixed me up with two a couple of years ago, and boy am I glad. Both nailed the light pull for me.

Kerry, I hope my LK order with a light pull is getting near the top of the pile:p

Ken, I have the same issue, but had no problem with the LC at Blade this year. I didn't open it a lot though.

Kerry and I were talking at Blade and I thought a knife with a cam tang would be easier to open. Bret Dowell made a linerless trapper with a light pull, it's still relatively solid when open but it has a half stop.

Got mine today.... The swedge is nicely done. Fairly easy to pinch open. I think the antique bone on this particular one looks better than that on my Tribal Spear.

Couldn't help it, Im excited to see some real life pics.

So these are being delivered, mailing started at least a week ago, and no one is excited/impressed enough with theirs to either post pictures in this thread or start their own?

C'mon guys. Don't leave us hanging like this.

Jerry talking about how nice his is and how the bone is even nicer is what made me really want to see pics again.

This one is probably the nicest collaboration I own. The bone is more caramel color and nicely rounded at the edges. The grinds are even, centered perfectly, stops are crisp.
