Alright, let’s see those users

This old friend has been beside me for two deployments, and is scheduled for a third next year! Just wanted to add that's Afghan sand/dust on her still and she is slated for a barrage of whatever Djibouti throws at her next!

I just gotta say Sir, your photo backdrops are always top notch! Mine usually feature some part of the cluttered garage 😂🤣😆
That's a four strand reata (rope braided out of four strands of rawhide) I've been resurrecting over the last couple of years. Still need to pull it. Check post #364 here and on down the rest of that page its on for reata info. Riata is also a correct spelling just to confuse things:

I have a favorite workhorse knife that’s been through a lot with me. It's a bit scratched up, the handle shows some wear, and there's a nice patina on the blade, but it’s trustworthy and cuts like a dream. I've used it for everything from camping trips to home projects. It may not be the prettiest anymore, but it’s definitely earned its spot in my pocket. Let’s celebrate these trusty companions!

Not a rare knife, but a rare combination of it. This is a custom Gerber Fastball. Just in the unique combination of carbon fiber scales and black hardware. I have had MANY MANY MANY user's in my life, and this one is my current favorite. So far, it has also been the longest in continual service. Like clothes, I have users for different occasions, but for everyday use, this Gerber is currently my winner.IMG_6972.JPGIMG_6971.JPG
