Looks like a bunch of my grandpa's multitool blades, he would sharpen them on his bench grinder till the blade was gone, then toss it and buy another

Just another user. Friend had it custom made for me by his uncle, who does a lot of 18th and 19th century smith work (knives, horseshoes, tools, etc). It’s my main, general purpose fixed blade, and gets used for just about anything you’d use a 4” blade for.

Yes indeed, I have another of his with a matching handle, a santoku, but this chef's knife gets more action in my household.

Here's a couple of my big users out of my nice knives. I love this thread, I wish it'd get as big as the EDC thread.

My work knife. A Kizer Critical in CPM-3V. Keeps an edge all day. I just use it in place of a straight blade, cause my main knife has a hook blade. I'm a roofer. 10 swipes on each side of the work sharp field sharpener fine diamond keeps a good working edge on it. I do this every morning.

10+ years old Mini Grip, and my beater Izula II. Funny thing about the satin finish and Grivory scales, they don't show much wear at all, even after all these years.
