We had a thread for American Elk handled knives, but Photobucket has ruined it.
I have added a couple so here they are. Just because mine are GECs, don't let that stop you.
Post'em all.

Awesome Dave!! That’s a really nice spey profile.

Hamsco, nice collection so far, the skinner is pretty sweet!

Love that Skinner!!
Here is one from Ken, I sent him the Elk so I know it's from America!! Montana in fact!;)

View attachment 824112 Awesome knives hamsco and Dave. I am very jealous!
The #15 is a great pattern. Great size.

Heck even my leather cutting roundknife is in elk. Hate the stuff can't ya tell.

I was hoping you would post some of your great work, Dave. Some might not have seen your posts in the other parts of BF, on your work with Elk. The next knife I order from you will definitely have Elk handles !!!

Thanks Jake :) But Ken deserves all the credit!!
He really did a Super job on this Beauty!! I asked him for thin blades because I wanted to use this knife as a Trapper should be used... the spey's big radius was of Ken's design and Man does it ever work Great for skinning!!! Can't give Ken enough credit for this build!!!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

^ I love smooth stag just as much as the gnarly stuff. Excellent stockman there.

Excellent thread , and needed due to P.Bucket's antics- they should be put on trial for crimes against humanity;):D I enjoy being the voyeur over this type of material:D Sadly, I have no example to show, I JUST missed out on an Am.Elk White Owl years ago, never really recovered :eek::D
