Ammo sales and future survival (another potential political thread)

What is the best thing you guys think we can do to protect our gun rights> I am a card carryin NRA member, but do you really think thats all we can do? I vote, email, and support the NRA, but there has to be more.

How and where do you guys store your ammo stock?

I do the same J and still it seems the fight wages on year after year .... I even donate a little money when I can.

Thats great! I keep mine in the same condition. My pistol ammo is in those flip top reloading boxes, Rifle ammo is in ammo cans.

I guess we just have to keep doin what we do, and stay optimistic.

Let our elected officials know that you treasure your second amendment rights. Tell them this every time someone draws up a bill that weakens the second amendment. Phone calls are most effective, followed by good old snail mail. Email has been shown to be the least effective way to be heard by elected officials.

...post 176. And the point is he didn't "cover it". He made valid points but never responded to my point that what you posted from the NRA is almost entirely made up. Guyon said nothing to prove otherwise.

I went to blackwing shooting center today after school, its probly the nicest range in the state and is very clean and well stocked.
One of the guys that run the place told me that they were running out of ar-15's and .223 to sell.

Local Academy Sports got in 15 AR-15s on a Monday. By Saturday, they only had two left. If all my guns weren't already sold, one of them would have come home with me. Hypothetically speaking, I would also pick up a couple thousand rounds to put back for it.

I am also a member of the NRA. I believe that they are necessary in protecting our gun rights. I also think that they make some things up to forward their/our cause. Sometimes this is necessary, and sometimes I think it goes just a little overboard.
By the way Tony, I am not tring to call you out or be unnecessarily combative. I apologize if I come off that way in some of my posts. :D

One thing we CAN do is create new gun owners.. Take a non shooting friend shooting. Educate them about our rights, and how fragile they are at this point. Take your old gun magazines and leave them in waiting rooms like at Tire stores, and repair shops, even doctors offices, especially the NRA magazines.. This may seem trivial but I guarantee the men will look at them instead of the standard stuff you find.. It may spark an interest, and maybe even educate them a bit on the truth about gun control.
Just think if every gun owner went out and made even ONE more gun owner that will help fight anti-gun BS.. I've done this since I was 18, and I've helped make several new gun owners since that before could care less about guns. Just my .02
