Is it too early to post a pic of Dex's give away? I went outside and took one before the sun got too low but don't want to spoil anyone else's surprise.

My collection is growing :D All of these were made by Dex. I got the 2 sets a while back and the one on the right from Dex's GAW!!!

Thanks Dex these rock!!

No argument from me there. Its definitely not the best pizza. But a large for 5 bucks makes it taste a little better LOL

I've had a few of those myself when in a hurry and/or broke. I consider 'em a starter kit... bring it home, put some decent meat, seasonings and cheese on it, heat it back up a bit and pretend it's a real pizza.

Or... just roll the sumbiscuit up like a giant floppy greasy burrito and scarf it down like a college kid on a weed binge. Sometimes that works, too :D

I'd pass. Our wedding bands are one-of-a-kind custom-fitted handmade stainless damascus with sterling silver liners... and we didn't pay a whole lot more per piece than that. On the other hand, someone else might totally go for that set, so... more power to 'em, I reckon.

Very cool. I bought a plain firesteel at Blade and made up the one below using antler from the first deer I shot up here in TN. I made the little kydex piggyback too, and I used the steel for the ESEE field survival class.

tradewater had a hand in it. He recommended the JB Weld and sent me the stretchy cord.

This is the route i went :D

My kids are obsessed with pizza so most the time if we get it, its for them. Me and the wife would both pick something else the majority of the time though...... Dont get me wrong I love me some good pizza fresh from little pizzeria corner shops.... but those normally run closer to 15 bucks for a large.. NOT 5 bucks LOL ....... Even then most the time id still prefer a good thick burger over a good pizza. And a pizza has no chance if i start considering fried chicken as an option....

But my kids would pick pizza over almost anything all the time.... And they dont seem to notice the difference between the 5 dollar pizza and the 15 dollar pizza... Ill keep feeding them the 5 dollar pizza as long as i can HAHA :D

Just got this Ritter Grip the other day.
I gotta say...I'm really liking this folder.

Thats awesome.

I always think its really neat when something new is made from something else that holds meaning. Like your first TN deer kill.

I have some old jeans from both of my kids that im holding on to... I plan to make some Micarta up out of them eventually.

got my package from Dex earlier, its almost to cool to use, much better than the Exotac FireRod i was going to buy

There are a couple pretty decent small pizza places here, thankfully. But as far as chains go, I gotta say my fave is Papa Murphy's. It's a take'n'bake... the crust is fairly decent, the sauce ain't bad, and they actually seem to use real, fresh ingredients... and they are not skimpy with 'em. Price comes out quite a bit cheaper than most, too.

It works out well when the wife calls on her way home and warns me, "Screw this fouled-up day; I ain't cookin' tonight, I'm grabbin' a PM. Warm up the oven if you wanna eat tonight." Yup, I can handle that :D
