Busy shopping week.
Ordered a Nemo Helios Pressure Shower,
and this Front Runner spare tire mount BBQ grate.
There will be some serious mail-checking this week.
That shower caught my eye. Very cool. I did the RAT Nav Class and Wilderness Ropes Class this past weekend, and it was brutally hot. I only camped at Jeff Randall's place on Saturday, but I used my portable camp shower--the kind you lay out in the sun. Holy cow, it was nice having a hot shower that night. I only paid $5 for that shower unit on clearance, and it was worth 5x that amount when that hot water hit me.
The BBQ grate is just the bomb.
Tried Old Chicago Pizza and Taproom yesterday. Pizzagasm. Food was most excellent. So was the beer.

Oh man, I'm jealous of the Old Chicago pizza!! That's my favorite pizza place, but the closest one to us is in Fargo, which is 170 miles. Did you try any interesting beers?

You have to get up to pee.... and you miss out on all the camping if you are just in the tent having sex
I was in the tent enough. I was young and out of the house camping... 24 times with the gf had me drained have to recharge around a camp fire. Glad to hear the good news about your dad Aikiguy!

Glad to hear that with the proper therapy the symptoms can be minimized or even completely reversed. Awesome stuff; thanks again.

I got mine from REI, but only cause I have a membership there. If I didn't I'm sure I could find it cheaper somewhere else. I like getting my dividends though from there.

Trying to keep up with the snark, Aikig, hope everythings turns out O.K. with your Dad.
So, every year about this time, we have our county fair here in Jackson co. Indiana. My kids school and our church are just a bunch of farm folks so we're all big supporters of it. Every year (among other things) I help a couple of young fellers from church with there 4H projects. Leather work mostly, however this year one project im excited about is a gun sling me and my buddy Glens 15 yr. old son Corbin made. We finished it up last night and I gotta say im impressed with it, ive never made a gun sling before and I think this one turned out great for a first try.

Thanks man, we're really excited about it doing well in the judging. What sucks, is just about every year some kid wins it that just goes and buys a cheap wallet or coaster kit that you buy from hobby lobby. The judges don't know enough to identify hand work opposed to something that comes in a easy to make kit. A lot of people, and participants started to get pissed off about it and I was approached to be a judge. I wanted to, but that would mean that I wouldn't be able to help the boys with there projects any more. I figure I enjoy that better, so I turned it down.
