And The Snark Goes On

Tornado warning in my area until about 6 pm.

I guess there was a funnel cloud spotted and telling people to seek shelter.

This could get interesting.

Maine's not known for tornadoes, is it? Be safe man.

Tried to lay down and get a few more hours sleep before work but then I had an idea for a kydex neck sheath system for the Hornet, so I wasn't going to fall asleep anytime soon with the wheels turning. Got up and decided to take another crack at kydex forming.

I came home from work and got a cat nap in snuggling my squishy :D

Sweet looking gear Gus!

I came very close to pulling the trigger on the special edition "Modern Warfare" Jeep. My wife was the one that shot me down on it :( Its going to be a long ways until my next vehicle. I'm thinking a Chevy Avalanche, or there is this old school H1 diesel that has been sitting in this used lot near my place forever. It's in awesome shape but has 525,000km on it hehe. I know those engines will easily do over 1mill with proper maintenance but there is always something newer.

Hows the little one doing TBL??

Great :D Like my other children he is just taking his time putting some weight back on. The midwives and our family doctor start to freak out, but he is alert, moving, and feeding like a champ. Normally around the 1 month mark my kids start to pack it on. But everybody wants them above birth weight in 2 weeks

Was wanting to go to the cabin this weekend, but the wife works Saturdays. She does, however, have Thursdays off, so she suggested we could go there tomorrow afternoon, and come back Thursday evening. Not quite a whole weekend, but I'll take it. It'll be the first over nighter.

Glad to hear the little one is doing well man.
We had the same thing with my Kiddo TBL, she lost a pound after being born and everyone freaked out, but she rebounded at about the month mark, and now shes a tall 6 year old..lol.

Bow chicha bow wow! Christen that cabin good and proper!

Looks like the worst part is over. Nothing happened in my area. Thankfully the storm was moving away from us.

We ended up having two separate warnings.

Great to hear bud!!

They are absolutely precious at that age!!

Well I made three attempts to form a kydex sheath for the Hornet and it's just not happening. I guess sheath making is not for me.

Yeah, never want to let them go! :D I could spend all day just relaxing with him in my arms.

Thanks Thorny, Same thing happened with first born son. After then 1 month mark he accelerated to the 100% in the growth charts lol. He's really big for a 4 year old, sometimes makes me forget how young he really is.

If the cabins a rockin..................;)

That reminds me of one of the first times I went camping in high school. We used to go out in a giant group and take over a local campsite. You could always tell when people were having sex in a tent. It was really really quite because they didn't want to get caught, and the walls normally puff in and out following rhythm of what is going on inside lol. Those used to be awesome parties lol.

Dang Gmoney!!! Some sweet scores bro!!

But what is the shower for???? People take showers while in the woods???

Seems like a waste of a perfectly good excuse to stay dirty :D

LOL, we're going to be developing a new isolated climbing area for about 10 days - a hot/warm shower will be appreciated.

I was looking at those showers for the cabin. May go another route though.

We looked the Zodi systems - very nice, but take up too much room in our self-supported vehicle for 10+ days.

The BBQ grate is particularly awesome.

Thanks Jerry. It's a great system for open fire cooking.

I have been looking at the Zodi on demand hot water systems. They are powered by propane and aren't that expensive.

It might be worth looking at Dubs.

Jeremy

Yep, Zodis are a good setup.

Sweet looking gear Gus!

Thanks! There may be a few more items that I have to add to our kit!
