None for me please. Between the Bushfinger and the 'chete, I can't take it.....

Sorry bro...but after how well the machete handled this really hard seasoned Maple earlier today for my cooking fire I just had to post these.

This is the firewood I chopped. The Maple was really dense and heavy and piling up the pieces sounded like piling up hardwood table legs. Made some really good hot coals too.

And as the food cooked I went back to take these pics of the small dead Maple tree I chopped.

Really looking forward to seeing pics of that Hunter. You making the sheath for it?

Sorry bro...just had to post these.

I don't think he's got the blanks yet. I think they are coming in later this month or maybe next month if I remember right.

No doubt. I'm broken hearted over the same thing. At least I have my Hunter to keep me company. :D:D:D:D:D:D

You know it. Tal does some great work, but I like putting my own spin on things. Nothing special, simple foldover bushcraft belt sheath, firesteel loop, British tan and double stitched. Already got the sketch done, just gotta pattern it, and make it. My big question now is, am I gonna go with one of my misch steels, or my new ESEE fire kit. I am leaning towards the ESEE, but I wanna keep this a classy setup, so......... The ESEE kit is awesome, but kinda looks "modern", know what I mean. Not sure, but I'll take pics and post when I'm done. Sure wish you could make it to my gathering, its gonna be fun. Moose

Yes, Tal does some stunning work, but I figured you'd be making your own sheath.

I know exactly what you mean. I love my ESEE firestarters very much and I keep one in the pack all the time...but I made an antler crown handled firesteel steel to go with my Bushfinger and the Recluse I'm getting because the ESEE just didn't have the aesthetics I wanted for those knives.

Hey guys, I like both the 12 and 14 inch models, nothing wrong with either one, but there is something real sweet about the 14 inch machete. Hope there are more soon....

Man, I wish ya'll would stop bringin' this thread back and back and back. I get heartbroken everytime I see this up and it doesn't have anything but, "Hey Andy, I want one!!".

I'm being silly, but still, you gotta an ETA on these things, Mr. Fiddleback? I gots my Hunter, (typing as I'm headin' out), now time to put the pressure on ya for the 'chete. I'll leave you alone for a couple of days after I get my 'chete, LOL. Moose

They'll ship by the end of this month they say!!!

When these are available how does one buy one? Preorder? First come first basis? Buy on here> Buy them on the Fiddleback website?

Also Mistwalker, is that the 18?? Whatever the heck it is it looks awsome.

They will be available here first come first serve, also, the dealers will have them.

Hmmm, I'm a "dealer." I know for sure I need 8 of them already! When should I email you about that?

That's the 12" model, machete lengths are the lengths of the blades.

It is really awesome, the best machete I've ever used...and I've used it quite a bit.
