Got one of these bad boys. Looking forward to getting it handled. I've been needing a machete for awhile. Great job on the blades Andy.

Buuuumpin' this one back up to the top for any updates? :) At night, I dream of 12 inch machetes.

The machetes are finished manufacturing, and are sitting there awaiting shipping. Why this part is taking so long is beyond me. Still, thats the up to datest update.

Hey Andy I am leaving for Panama in 1 week for fishing. You need me to do a layover in El Salvadore and do a QC check??? lol, maybe lay some smack down as to why its taking them so long:eek::D

Slip a couple 12 inch blanks under your jacket while you are there and holler at me! ;)

Haha!! Yes. Plus, pack me in your bag. I wanna come fishing.

How do you order them? Is there a waiting listor pre order list? I NEED ONE!!!:D

Not doing orders!!! Once they're in they'll be available here as fast as I can make them. Plus, KSF is getting 40.

Even if the ship they were leaving on was in port the day they were ready to ship it would take a few days for the ship to be finished loading before it would depart. If the ship hasn't made it there....It's a small country with a lot less industry and infrastructure than we have here. It takes time for things to move in those countries, but they will be worth the wait. I had been waiting for this machete since I was 16...I will be 46 my next birthday, a few months really isn't all that bad :)

If they are sitting in the box, ready to pick up, it will take at least 3 weeks for them to get here. Imacasa ships to the US quite a bit, but they still have to clear customs, which is usually a week, then, delivery stateside, THEN, Andy can start work on them.

Be patient. No one wants this to bear fruit more than Andy, but pushing for it won't make it go any faster. I'm sure Andy's tired of hearing about it, to be honest, I would be. We'll know when they get here, just as we know when to start circling chummed waters, Andy will let us know.

We all want one bad, especially me, just sit back and chillax.

Andy, when's the next batch coming out? I thought I smelled blood in the water.

Yeah, I'm sure Andy is regretting mentioning anything about this little project now! :p I'm in the middle of a project myself but I've only told a few people I know can keep quiet--I've seen how it goes with these things. One little delay and everyone can't contain themselves!:D

I am not reading through 13 pages to find out why is waiting on the machetes. Doesn't he do everything in house? Did he sub out the machetes for another company to build?
