lol thats kinda why i posted it. a few or 10 pages back i had made some similar comments all in good fun of coarse :) i just wasn't prepared for the only guy on the forum with a 12 incher to start cracking jokes and what not (mist this is you i am talking about) i mean its easy to make fun of the little guy (no pun intended) when you got that bad ass 12 incher to keep the ladies and FB fans mesmerized with.

ps my wife really doesn't give a shit about knives that aren't in her kitchen but i still usually make her hold them and tell her yeah you love the size of that one don't you. then she usually smacks me in the back of the head, sets the knife down and then walks away shaking her head.
 
Dude...those are sick! After watching Mist's review on youtube with the 12"er, I gotta get one! I'm thinking 12 or 14...or both! :D Any idea on when these will become readily available??

Thanks, yeah as much as i hate to admit it I'd likely part with my Bushfinger before the machete....

I offered Andy to go to El Salvador and pick them up (yes i know what a nice guy) and i promised that only 10 or 20 blanks would be missing and he said no thanks;):D

It wasn't getting them into the country that sucked. Now, if you had offered to go to the airport and wait for customs to get their heads out of their asses, I'm sure he would have rewarded you with like 40 of them. lol. That whole deal picking them up was hellacious. ....from what I heard. :p

I actually was going to offer to pick them up for him since they were coming in and had to be picked up at a very inopportune time, but you have to be the person they're being shipped to and show ID and everything so he had to do it.
 
Truth.

I work in freight import/export and the hoops you have to jump through for the simplest things sometimes...

I'd rather be making knives

Nah,...I'm just saying if things get so bad i have to start parting with things the 'finger will go before the machete. If things get that bad I made need the machete to build a shelter lol. However I will keep the above statement in mind :thumbup:

OMG i am going crazy and thanks to customs f'in stuff up and auth of mist i had to order my wife the black mamba. come to find out when she was talking about this damn 12 incher she was never wanting one of andy's bad ass blades :( but fortunately since she got her 12 incher, i get to get one of andys when they are ready :)

OK Guys! I finally have approval to start messing with these bad boys. This pic shows almost 600 lbs of machete blades!

Each box held 4 trays of machetes.

And here they are. I've got them counted. I'm going to put a handle on a few. Unfortunately thats about all I've got handle material for. (3/8" canvas micarta) I may do a few in Osage. I have tons of that and Cocobolo.

A 12-incher in Jade G10 with black liners and pins and bullseye and a scandi grind for my Sunday-go-to-meetin' machete! That sounds good! Then I need two regular 12-inchers in Natural Canvas and one more Scandi version in that lovely Red Shadetree Burlap for my sister!

Not an order, just a little bird on your shoulder in case you notice anything like those taking shape in front of you! ;)

Somebody bring me a paper bag, I'm having trouble breathing!!
 
Damn and I thought Xmas had just gone can't wait to see some these finished - a 12" in Osage sounds awesome, got my eye on a 16" as well

Add black bolsters to that jade and I'll take one.
 
14 inch Black Canvas with Black liners. Just thowing that against the wall to see if it sticks.
 
Hell if everyone else is wishing. I'll take a 12 and an 18 in whatever handle you got. I know you dont know me from Adam but I sure like your stuff.
