Another Bad Will Moon Post

I saw this thread earlier this week, and the very same day I saw him post on reddit and get tons of praise.

Reddit (or maybe just r/knifeclub and related) really is something else. It truly seems like they never focus on the bad side of anything or anyone. Sort of breaks and inhibits the idea of a community (not that BF is faultless, but much more honest I'd say) .

The reason for this probably has a lot to do with the fact that many Redditors are what is often referred to there as "karma whores", wherein they are mainly there for the validation and gratification that comes from all the "likes" their comments receive. So, when you only post empty cotton-candy fluff positive things, and never offer any criticism for fear of losing those all-important likes...(shrugs) it's a self-censoring thing. Me personally, I would have no part in that.

It's not just that though, there was strong resistance to the whole Heath Helton scam ordeal, and it took way too long to apply some sort of penalty to him (he was flipping knives or something during a time he claims he had no money to reimburse victims). Just seems to be a bit too much hands-off approach IMO

Also he keeps saying to anyone that brings up his past that it is going to hurt his ability to feed his family. But.. There's little money in knives and what happened to getting a legit job?
