I looked through all 30 page’s on the New York knife company deal on here and I didn’t see anything on one of these knives I have this one and seams to be very early

I also scrolled through all 30 pages of this thread recently. It reminded me of Primble and it was good to see the great knives posted by Chuko (Charles Lamb), 1smartfella and others. I thought I would add a few in just to keep them all in once place going forward. If you have any NYK Co. knives that haven't already been posted please add them as well.

Scout knife. NYK Co. was the official scout knife for a while. There's faint salesman's ink on the back of the main blade. (I didn't make it very far in Cub Scouts.)

As a scout leader for a number of years, I enjoyed collecting some of the older scout knives, but these NYKC scout knives eluded me, always going for more than I could afford. This one is in fantastic condition, too.

Thanks Charlie and Mike for the kind comments!!

With the OKCA show where we would be right now if it was not canceled, I have taken solace in revisiting many of the outstanding old knife threads here and soaking up the images:(:):)!

Today i bought this old 2-bladed Hammer Brand folding knife with a blue leather pocket sheath.
Now these knives are not exactly my field of expertise, so what i would like to know is the model name and the timeframe in which it was built.

I think what you have is model 2741 in the catalog image. Likely rosewood (they called it redwood) and I'm guessing around 3 5/8" long closed? It's hard to date those guys as they rarely changed anything on their knives during all the years of production. Could be anywhere from around 1878 to around 1930.
