What an incredible collection Mike! I know how long it took for you to get the stars aligned on that deal, I'm glad it all came together for you. :):thumbsup:

Man old Hercules just boggles my mind!! o_O

In keeping with the NYK knives I have been posting here is something a bit different. Salesman would send out notices that they were on their way to prospective buyers before going to see them. I am always on the lookout for them. These two I bought years apart, years ago. One is from a salesman for Electric Cutlery and the other is from a salesman from NYK co. 10 years apart but the same salesman!! Go figure. The 4-blade knife on the right is an Electric Cutlery NJ knife and the 5 blade is a NYK co knife. Calling cardsIMG_0355.jpgIMG_0356.jpg are on top.

Mike those are some outstanding knives and cards. Gotta hand it to the folks who had the foresight to hang on to that old ephemera. Most of it wound up right in the garbage.

That NYK is amazing, you don't often see a five blade pearly. Nice old stamp too!

Incredible pair, Mike 😍 you're fortunate to have them:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Picked up this unique NYK Hammer Brand sheepsfoot jack. Small knife 2 7/8" with a lot of features for such a small knife, curved frame, double bolster, rat tail bolster. Easily the smallest sheepsfoot jack in my collection, pictures show it next to a curved Ulster sheepsfoot for size reference.

Mike Losicco just pointed out that a faint etch "Hammer Brand" is marginally visible just under the long pull. Only shows under bright magnification!!

Hey All, I was asked to do some research on this knife as a person would like to find it a new home. Can any of you confirm this is a real deal and not a reproduction? Id assume being NYKCo shut down with the great depression there likely isn't repops being made? specially one like this display piece? To me it all looks good, but i want an experts opinion.

That's the real deal and a very fine example too.
