Any custom knife resemble a Strider SNG/SMF,, besides Hinderer?

Hurting the community at large? LOL! This community is larger than a few posters who have the pack mentality. The net is a two edged sword , meaning any know nothing can post any such drivel they want.

So, you feel I was hurting someone by saying "wake up custom knifemakers" ? Hmmm.

I said that because I asked a question and at that point in the thread, nobody knew of one . The responses I got was why don't you look on your own or go to a knife store..

Anyway, why is that so offensive to you? Are you a custom knifemaker? Or did I only offend the custom knifemakers by making a suggestion. Or did you dig a hole now that you can't get out of. Keep reaching!

Some logic. Let's make a deliberately irritating post designed to get attention. That sounds like it should have it's very own phrase or something...:rolleyes:

"Wake up custom knife makers?" Oh come one. They know their style and their niche, and no one as abrasive as you is going to "wake them up" to your style of knife.

I posted a question. What I got were rude deriding comments. Get over it! I did.

BTW I think it's ironic you are wanting to trade your Strider for a Hinderer XM-18 on the trade forum.

If i was a maker I would take a close look at Strider. After all, Strider copied the Hole from spyderco and the liner lock from CRK, so why not take what strider does (or Hinderer) and be successful?

You probably? I doubt it. Calling someone a keyboard warrior just because you're getting blow back from a less then well thought out post is a crutch used by the weak when they have little else to do.

If you showed up to a meeting of knife makers and started saying the stuff you're posting I have little doubt they'd say everything said here and probably a whole lot more.

What you actually said (in whole) was:

Well it is amazing to me that no custom maker will take the same principles as Strider. Maybe that is why we pay the price Striders command. They are all alone in their class.

Also I don't think Esav used the term ignorance (which means not knowing any better) in a derogatory manner.
