Any love for Trappers?

Bruce, we need to have a chat! Great looking knife. Can you show a closed pic and and a pic of the springs/spines of that 009 knife.

Buck has some standard model trappers but here are some interesting ones:
The Model 329 was a special offer by SMKWs and was actually made by Camillus. Some escaped the box and buckle and just came out in the open plain jane.

The Model 312 was produced by Buck in Blue bone to simulate turquoise. They were a special run for the AKCA. A few of those escaped the AKCA blade etch and show up ah-la natrual.

The models 312 and 314 were produced in ebony in numbered versions. These are number 12 out of 250. Engraved on the reverse of clip blade.

Most of the traditional folks are interested in how a knife cuts, its beauty to the eye and just how it feels when you lay in you hand....crazy collectors on the other hand get excited when a model, here the 312, comes around with some little nuiance that makes it different and not common. Notice here the brass spring rivet. The first few put together had the brass till it got noticed. Hard to find 'nuiance'.
