When i went to Winkler Actual i was wearing my Field Knife so i could compare the two as you did in your picture. The Lost Lake is a behemoth of a knife. Very thick and heavy.

It's a skinner , case collab. Bottoms got a crusher pommel but can't see in the pic

Am i sick or as i believe it’s totally normal to expect for example a electricians bill to be $550 and when job is done he says $300 and the money i didn’t spend i consider money towards my next Winkler?

Seriously we had a crawl space encapsulated and a commercial dehumidifier installed. I hired the electrician and wanted a dedicated line to unit plus a switch and a light also put in. The previous owner unbeknownst to me had already run power lines ( just not hooked up) and there was already a switch and a light with burned out bulb so i might have over paid lol.

I found while shopping i would add 3-4 things to my cart while wife is shopping for other boring stuff like food or socks with her cart, i’m in sporting goods and auto.
At the register if she complains i pick out a few of the items and say i’ll put them back. But i always get what i really wanted lol. Never anything expensive and normally something i needed but just not planned on in her budget.
Hey that could work? If she’s with me at Winkler i pick out the most expensive knife or even that $900 axe then in the end settle for a Operator or BK Crusher. Devious minds lol
Note: she knows i love collecting which is really my only vice. Moderation is the key.

nice . love to see knives being used. most people only collect place em im a drawer them without how they perform at various task. i always have an excuse to use my knives. no point in baby them

I have a full size and had a compact. I sold the compact but would like to get another one someday.

I like the feel of the handle of the belt sliiightly more. But everything else makes this my favorite design I've played with. I have a pal with a camo g10 handled version for sale at the moment that's really hard to not snag up just incase this one goes missing lol. It's super light but might not be the best for folks with larger hands
