Any Winkler fans?

Has anyone gotten any new Winklers recently? I ordered this from the shop a few months ago and it got delivered just in time for hunting season. Nice little knife.

Ha I'm guilty of that too. As soon as I paid for the Huntsman I ordered another. A compact RnD Spike

Drop point crusher sculpted maple scales
SD2 x2 wasp scales and smooth black micarta scales
Forest Edge w/wasp scales
Huntsman w/sculpted maple scales
Contingency on order w/wasp scales
I think the operator will be next.

I have to agree the pathfinder is one of the best models! I think i like the survival striker a little more, it makes it on my hip more often at least.

I've got one. I love it, it's a beast of a knife. Only used it a few times so far but I am hoping to put it to work in the fall. Definitely pick one up if you can.

The Winkler-Knight collab knives were really sweet. I'd love to see a fresh run of those. My Jaeger is still one of my favorites.

Tough call. I like the sculpted handles on the Dynamis models and my Forest Edge, but I haven't tried any other model with sculpted handles. For mine, I usually prefer smooth handles. Typically I get maple but I have been leaning towards walnut recently.

You can't really go wrong. If you have huge hands I'd suggest non sculpted though

Sculpted Maple is a favorite of mine, besides the look I like the extra grip it provides.

The smooth tends to be more slippery but yet more hand filling.
