Nice! Looks great!

I wonder who has my old high polish Dogfather and swapped scale ASH? Pretty sure I did a CBT FBM too.

These threads are dangerous. Got me looking at an unused Viking Warship all mean eyed.

PS, its fun to polish them up with Mother's from the auto places. They get real shiny.

I miss my old stripped 511... that tight clean CBT was unexpected and that knife looked great stripped... I etched the SYKCO logo really deep first. I did a rando sando "stonewashing" on it... made the flats shiny

I had the sterile black one at one time and a nice tan one with the matching tan SOD... now I have one stripped SOD and a gray one. ZERO Dogfathers :(

Dogfather and SOD were awesome!

Maybe I'll start slow with a TGULB. Hammered silver is a little too shiny--yet not enough. Got to dull it up first though because way too scary to work with as delivered.

I've only ever used Citristrip so I dunno how well anything else works. Regulators are so smooth under the paint, they strip the easiest and the worst are Kabar Beckers but I only have done a BK15. You are removing that coating forever. Easiest is when you buy them already stripped like that B9 hahah.

I just did this one a couple of weeks ago and it turned out pretty good... It was really easy, probably 2 hours at the most.
I have a Combat Grade BB13 and SAR5 that will be next. I'm expecting the SAR5 to be a huge pain...

that basic 9 is a fake.

send it to me and I'll confirm before disposing of it properly for you.
I am pretty sure you are correct. It is weird. Only has a convex bevel on one side. The other side is like plain. I think it may be Chinese. I will send it right over.

Also when you swing it full force onto wood it glides through like friction doesn't exist. I think it might be cursed or is that charmed? Whatever it is... it is creepy.

if it were a really busse the log would have disintegrated.

What model is that? I LOVE a bowie tip and a fuller on a SYKCO RES C knife. Awesome. I had a 711 bowie tip and never should have got rid of it. OMG I found it... Dog Soldier 6 Bowie ? I need one... have to get one.

Thanks ! I believe that's a unique INFI DS6. Used to be black.
I found the thread where you bought it! Wow that is an awesome blade. If only they would make another one... I have no idea how the Custom Shop works. My idea one would be just like that in SR-101 comp or double cut finish.
