Read through the thread, this is just one example qouted “it's a nice rough looking finish, but it's so rough and pitted that it's heavily prone to rust. if you own a competition grade busse you can expect there to be rust under the handle scales because of it.”

Maybe it was just the one post that stated that. Still interested though. I think its unlikely. But i’ve never taken the scales off of a busse before.
 
I had some huge plastic zip lock bag. I think a compressed dog bed came in the bag at one point. I’m curious to see if citristrip is re useable ?

There is an ASH2 getting naked in there. I wonder how bad the grinder gremlins will be.. no regrets.

Not a single grinder gremlin scar on either side. I’m not sure how many Busse’s I’ve stripped.. Only twice has there been no grinder marks - kind of disappointing, but all good. I miss the dimples - they were part of the fun.

Now for the de carb - wet / dry 1K grit under the faucet in place of Scotch bright pads.

the dimples are under the handles probably.

I find numbers under the handles of my Busse strippers.

Just a couple more and I'll have enough lucky numbers to play the lottery...
