Thank you for the kind words Kalama.
I'm working on finding new ways to be more on top of things, increasing my turnaround times, and finding better more reliable suppliers. Also decided to stop doing Kydex work. I may start making my own carbon fiber from now on.

I have everyone's orders shipped out that are done. 20+ packages out today. I spend the last couple of days really pounding out work. I plan to do the same this week and get my books cleared and ready

Good for you, again emotions run high when people are out of money and communication for whatever reason gets delayed .

May I suggest a WIP progress thread for you . Say this and only this and not be a discussion thread you could open it and close it to make post put not allow replies . Say today is June 30th and today you are working on orders say made may 30th or whatever the date the order was placed . Go into your thread and say now working on orders for the month of April or the month of may just to give your customers an idea of where you are and that way they can be like oh OK he's on April orders I put mine in mid may so it's getting close .

Hey Spartan.......next time you see your mom.....give her a kiss from all of us bro.
Amazing woman.......they don't make them like her anymore.

As I just stated/posted in the other thread:

That "anyone can run into hard times", even myself.... however, it is a totally non professional and a very poor business sense and practice to keep taking in orders and peoples money while not getting previous orders done and shipped out.

Five months ago I was told by Mr. Yakush "my current turn around time is 5 to 8 weeks", that was five months ago.
After eventually answering some of my monthly email queries, I received several replies saying either "it's almost done", or "it's done and I'll send it out this week" or "I didn't measure your Swick2, I thought it was the same as other Swicks but it's not and I have to do it over", or "I'm sending it out tomorrow" yet I never received a tracking # or my knife.

Current update: it took me having to both file a claim with PayPal plus a charge back with my bank last week to finally get Mr. Yakush to finish and ship my knife back to me last Thursday, I will receive it tomorrow, Saturday.

I have absolutely no issue with Mr. Yakush suffering from migraine headaches... what I have an issue with is receiving (over a 5 month time span) sparse email reply's stating "I'm sending it out".... but never sending it or saying "I can't find the tracking #".

Again, I was patient for FIVE months... it then took me having to file a PayPal claim and a charge back with my bank (1st payment was via P.P. 2nd was via my checking account) to finally get Mr. Yakush to get the job done and ship it out along with a tracking number.
I only hope what I'll receive tomorrow is what we agreed on and is worth the money I paid.

I do feel for Mr. Yakush's personal issues, but not his business practices.
I will not give him my business again.

I started this thread on April 4th 2016 to know other peoples experiences with Mr. Yakusk, thanks to all of you that contributed.
This will be my last post as I received my knife back today, I have no doubt that by having to file a claim with PayPal and a charge back through my bank is the reason I finally got it back.

A little over five months later and $116.80 spent on a sheath, orange liners and scales, the sheath is not tight and in two areas the orange liner sticks out from edge of the scales, while I did ask for a Frag pattern, I did not ask for "glossy" G10.
I suppose I can try the hair dryer trick to try to tighten the sheath.

I am sorry that you had to wait that long for some half hearted attempt at those scales. Kinda just like getting the bird. I am sure there are some awesome service providers here that could really whoop you out something spectacular.

This is your reply to a customer that you strung along for months? This is your reply to a customer that had to go to his bank and PayPal to get you to move on his item? And it's also your reply to him after the item was returned to him showing your shoddy work and lack of attention to detail? Your lack of care is disgusting you don't deserve the money of the people here good luck after a Google search of your name drumming up much work I know for one you'll never get a dime from me.

I had a longer reply but since nothing Ive said or done matters I just decided to delete it. I've done hundreds of deals and made hundreds of scales for many many happy people. Noone has 100% happy customer base. Not Ford, not GMC, not Dell computer, not Samsung, not AT&T. Noone is 100 percent happy with everything. So yes hes unhappy and will say all the mean and hurtful things he can no matter how hard I try to make him happy.
I returned his money! I offered him a FREE set of scales for whatever knife he wanted in any material he wanted! Hes still unhappy and on here complaining about it. Hes also been harrassing me!
Hes been creating spam email to send me hate mail as well as going on to all my business pages to do the same thing.
He will of course deny it, however he messed up on one of his fake emails address and it has his last name on it, thats on I know its him.

So needless to say I did everything in my ability to make him happy and make it a better situation and hes not having it. In fact hes going out of his way to make it as bad as possible. Like I said hes been harassing me with emails and other forms of contact. Swearing, cursing, and making threats.

5 months man 5 months of course he's pissed you would be to don't down play it and in the end he got his money back and sub par work from you

To be honest, I think the work was good. I think he used the hair dryer like he said previously and messed up the sheath. Then he made that video showing how loose the sheath was.
The scales were lined up with the knife excellent.

However, I was open to his complaints regardless of their validity and offered to fix and replace any and all of the order on top of returning his money! AND giving him one FREE set of new scales for any knife in the future in any material. He refused all of this and would rather come on here and say I'm a terrible person. Which Im not. Like I said before, some people can't be pleased and would rather be upset and angry.

I said the last post was my final one, unfortunately I must respond.

I have nothing against Mr. Yakush personally other than his sense of business as well as his business practices as "I" experienced them are joke.
I started this thread shortly after I started getting "red flags" re: my dealings with Mr. Yakush ("Anyone have a bad experience with Eric Yakush of Shepard Custom Creations???" simply in order to get feedback from other people who did or were currently doing business with him.

My experience for five months: I originally ordered and paid for a C.F. sheath, then Mr. Yakush asked me if I wanted scales made, he sent me some photos of his work and I said okay... I'd like "plain black G10 with an orange liner, nothing too fancy", Mr. Yakush then suggested a "Frag pattern" on the G10 , I said okay and sent the requested $75.00 (in addition to the fee for the sheath) via PayPal, Mr. Yakush requested the payment be sent as "Friends and Family" a.k.a. personal which is done so the merchant can avoid paying P.P. a fee for the transaction.
NOTE: I you pay via "Friends and Family" you are out of luck in the unforeseen event that you need to file a claim and get your money back using PayPal's Buyer Protection.

A month and a half later, I started to email Mr. Yakush to inquire how the work was coming along, this is when I started to get the same story every 3 or 4 weeks: "I'm almost done"... or "I'll ship at the end of the week"... or "I'll ship it tomorrow".
Then in the middle of all that.. he writes and says that he "didn't realize my Swick2 Sprint was not the same size dimensions as all the other Swick's" and he would have to "start over again making another pair of scales and liners"... he sent me a photo of what happened and I immediately noticed he made the scales using Carbon Fiber, not what we agreed on, being "plain black G10 with a Frag pattern"... I then had to tell him he used the wrong materiel, he then said "oh, yes, you're right".

A few weeks later I again inquired in email how the work was coming along, I then got the same: "I'm almost done"... or "I'll ship at the end of the week"... or "I'll ship it tomorrow" I finally after 5 months decided not to be on the losing end of the stick and filed a claim in PayPal.
Unfortunately since Mr. Yakush had me pay via "Friends and Family" you cannot file a claim if you pay with that option.
But fortunately I paid for the scales/liners via my personal checking account also linked to my P.P. account, after I returned the unattractive "High Gloss" scales/liners to Mr. Yakush PayPal then returned my money (no one voluntarily offered to return my money).
Since I did not receive a refund for the sheath I've kept the C.F. sheath and had to use a hair dryer to make the sheath fit the Swick2 the way a sheath should fit properly.

As far as Mr. Yakush currently saying I'm "spamming" him in email, or "he's harassing me" or, "Hes been creating spam email to send me hate mail as well as going on to all my business pages to do the same thing.", or "Swearing, cursing, and making threats." or "I offered him a FREE set of scales for whatever knife he wanted in any material he wanted!" and several other statements.... all of which are false.
Mr. Yakush is delusional.

Tip: when remitting money for a "service" or you are buying "similar knife items" NEVER remit using "Friends and Family" unless they truly are.
