Anyone here EDC a fixed-blade?

I occasionally do ESEE Izula or Blind Horse Long Trail in my RFP w/ one of my kydex sheaths with my pocket clip.

Yes I do..

This one has been in my pocket every day for a year now. Before that was a BK11.

I live and work in a rural area, and drive a forklift in a warehouse for a living.

On weekends I will add a larger (4" or so) fixed on my belt. Right now it is a Mora 840.

Where can I get one of these?

I EDC a Bark River Lil Canadian in one of those KSF pocket sheaths. I live in the city, and work in a signmaking/commercial millwork shop

Hey man, can you please post a photo of this in sheath? I'm considering the exact combo but I want to see what it's like in the KSF sheath first.

Bonus points for photos in pocket.

Thanks.

I carry a CRKT Stubby Razel, at least I will until this Monday when my Graham Bros. Stubby Razel arrives in the mail

You carry your SOS?

Maybe I gotta take mine outta the box, I was savin' to resell it for a small profit but maybe I should enjoy it instead. :)

I like my old 80s Bud Nealy Aikuchi in Blued O-1 with Black Micarta scales, bought from ol' Bud hiself at the first ECCKS show, ( that was before I moved to PA 20 minutes from his shop).

I've EDC'd this puppy ever since, you can tell by the battle scars it's no closet queen.

Calif. knife laws were mentioned earlier and I thought I'd clear up a mis- conception. Any length fixed blade can be carried in the state provided that it is worn in a sheath and carried openly. If a fixed blade is concealed it may cause a problem with the law though. There is no statewide condition that the knives be work related.

Folders, including assisted openers, are also legal to carry, these need not be openly carried.

There are some localities that limit blade length for both fixed and folders. L.A. is one and I believe S.F. and Sacto.

You can read more on this here...

Hope this helps some.

im really looking into the bark river bravo necker. could someone post pics of how they carry theirs?

Locally made blade. 5160 differentially heat treated, with water buffalo horn scales. One thing I discovered with water buffalo horn is that it is surprisingly grippy even with wet or sweaty hands. I carry this sometimes so I can't really say I EDC it.

These are my EDC's that I carry in a simple pouch, made them myself, I call them number 6 and 7

Beautiful knife you have there, any chance you do custom scales for a Ka-Bar TDI Law Enforcement (small). Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Quite often/EDC an Izula or a Kevin Wilkins Ryback Bushcrafter (4" blade) IWB. I live in Munich, so according to german law I need a legal reason to carry one hand openers (and no SD) and I don't need one for fixed blades w/ a blade length of up to 12cm - so I add a fixed blade to my BM710. I hope any LEO who would disagree with my legal reason (cutting stuff - unfortunately they tend to demand a specific task/reason) will find it pointless to take the 710 off me since he can't take that fixed blade. But as of now: no LEO ever asked me for an ID or anything else, so I think I'm quite safe. :)

I edc a fixed and a folder every day, edc fixed rotation is: Sean O'Hare damasteel sparrow, Bill Ackers twist damascus recurve, Boker damascus hunter, Boker damascus Beauty, Bob Crowder Ats 34 fixed with seymchan metorite bolsters and mammoth tooth handle. Sometimes my Leo IV.

1/2 time Izula / 1/2 time XM-18 / 1/2 time military! :D Take your pick

I live in South Florida as a carpenter. I rotate Fallkniven F1 in a small taco sheath,Boss street or Bravo1 both in kydex. As it is so hot here I do not always wear a belt so I adapt ESEE 5/6 clips on most of my small to medium kydex sheaths. This way I can carry even if I have an elastic waist.

I just did a quick check and discovered that a Tops Shango will just barely fit into a KSF Adirondack sheath.
