Anyone here with less than 10 knives?

Bought:
Wenger Soldier (old style)
Victorinox Soldier (new style)
Victorinox Classic SD in black (with US Army emblem)

Found:
Cold Steel Tanto Voyager
Gerber Gator Serrator
Camillus Electrician's Knife
 
I got two fixed that I made myself (I think they are pretty good) one terrible folder that I made myself and a decent folder
 
I have about 80-90 knnives ..sopme are junky crkt..some are better kershaw and benchmade...My fav is my fallkniven F1...but i too need to sell off some of my crap to make room for better knives..i have a harley davidson lot i want to sell..maybe i'll post it here...see if they sell..although United Cutlery...piss poor
 
I am pretty sure I have the smallest knife collection of any member on here. The only real "knives" I have are

Spyderco Manix 2
BM Mini Grip 556

I also have two leatherman tools

Skeletool CX
Blast

So, even if you count the multi's I have 4 real knives. How's that for a small collection?
 
I have less than ten knives in my EDC rotation at the this time, but many times more than that in my collection. I would have a very hard time getting under ten knives since much of my current collection are knives that are no longer in production, from companies that have went away for various reasons or limited edition models.

This is a huge forum but you can't get much less.

There is a respected and longtime member of the Benchmade Forum with 1
that's right 1 knife. A 520 Presidio and has had it for years. He says "what's the point when you have the best already". Something like that. I like him and respect those of you that have that attitude.

Me. I prefer quality over quantity.
My favorite is my Spyderco D2 Military, not letting this one go.
 
Well, I have been a knifeknut for like 30 years. I have been posting around the net since 1999. I have at one time "tried them all". Currently, I have maybe 10. Most of those are slipjoints that onced belonged to grandpa. My EDC for years was a BM 530. Currently MIA. I am carrying a CRKT Summa right now. I really like it. I am a knife knut for life, but I never caught the snob bug.
 
I have at least 75 knives (probably more) and use a handful out of those. You really just don't need a lot of users IMO. I collect and sometimes sell a few and buy more.
People have got on me for not using all my Spydercos, but if I wasn't a collector I sure wouldn't have 54 of them! It takes a really long time to wear a decent knife out, if you use it as it was intended to be used. So yes other than collecting it is easy to get by with 10 decent users or even less.
 
I have 13, but I have had several more that I traded:
3 Benchmade
3 Spydies
1 Kershaw (traded off 3 others)
3 SAK
1 Cold Steel (hate it)
1 byrd
1 Case (seeing more in my future)

Next will be a RAT!
