I'll say! After these last few posts I think I'll have to switch my focus to customs:thumbup::thumbup:(That is if I can get a cost of living raise;) )

I thoroughly enjoyed your article on Tony B. Mike!! Keep up the good work.

Nice stag herd we got going here. Greg, I like that Szilaski of yours.

I thought reddish/orange stag happens naturally on rare occasions. I posted this in the Bose thread but I think this stag is natural:

Those are all very beautiful examples of stag. Here is a little knife with very thin stag scales. It was made by Needham Bros in the mid to late 1800s.

I don't know anything about this one other than it has a French name Lacroix stamped on the blade. If anyone can help it will be greatly appreciated.

S-K probably trips over piles of stag on the way to and from the bathroom.

I like how the old knife companies worked the bark stag right to the edge, which I've also seen on knives by Tomes, Bradshaw and the Boses, among others.

I was told that in ye olde time days that cutlers would put the rough stag on the finger side for better grip and the smooth side opposite for the palm of a hand.

Another Henckels:
