Anyone notice the 2025 Catalog?

These look nice.

I like the blue synthetic handle offering for the 301 and 303. Haven't seen anything like that color offered for quite a while.
Other than 305 Clipper, the only other 'BLUE' 300 series knife I can think of was this 312 Trapper in Blue Smooth Bone.
I went down the rabbit hole with 'Search'. ABCA is American Blade Collectors Assn. I found a 2001 post by Vern Taylor.

"We did that knife for Bruce Voyles in Chattanooga Tenn. He was the Publisher of BLADE magazine at the time."

Yes, I forgot about that. It came in a two knife pouch, one etched, one not etched.

Yes, it came as a two knife set but it was a Queen Stag and the Buck Blue Bone. Velvet case and matching serial numbers. There were variations of the Buck serial numbers. If the serial number began with 'L' it was a Life Member knife. There are also knives without serial numbers. I don't know about those or knives without blade etches.

That is weird. I've seen one with a Queen stag in it and always thought someone just put it there. My pouch/ velvet case has the two Buck 312s in it. Perhaps someone just put the unetched one in there and put the Queen somewhere else.

The person I bought the set from told me today that he took the Queen knife out and put the unetched Buck in its place. Vern had some extra unetched ones.
I thought that it was never offered with 2 of the same knives.
That was ALOT of years and beers ago!! 🍻😂😂
John 😁

Something is potentially ominous about not having the limited editions / legacy knives in the dealer catalog. Does this mean the only way to get them will be to pay full price at Buck, since dealers won't be able to order them?

I'm pretty excited to see the renewed emphasis on the 300 series. The last couple 301's I bought had some pretty significant gaps in the backsprings. One of them also had some fairly creative grind lines. Nothing that affected use.

Then there was a recent web special 301 with carbon fiber that was bang on perfect. Hopefully we'll see more of that for this round of production.

The Limited Editions and such will probably all become "web exclusive" knives.

I've been wanting to get a 112 Ranger Sport, but it seems they are frequently out of stock along with the 112 Sport Pro TRX.
And now they're discontinuing the TRX? That thing is frequently out of stock, so apparently it sells well.
?
I see they are changing the blade steel on the take apart Sport from S30v to S35v, so that could explain the no stock on that.

Those are both knives that seem to sell very well, I really hope they get ahead of it in the future.

I just don't understand why they would eliminate the Pro TRX knives.?
Sigh.
