  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Anyone use their true grail knife for active cutting?

Oh Medford, I know we all love to hate him, but I've heard he's retracted and apologized for some of his previous statements (might be a video on his YouTube channel), and has also revised his warranty and isn't shipping out that comically obtuse ACHTUNG!!! letter with his knives anymore. Still not for me though.

I kept my ACHTUNG!!! letter. I have a photo of it somewhere, too. Hang on, here it is:

The thing is, the knife has grown on me. It's the slow kid of the group, to be sure, but it's lovable in its own goofy way. I'm a little wary of carrying it after a freak accident with it where I gashed my hand open on the heel of the blade in my pocket reaching for something (the stupid-thick blade stock means the handles slabs are miles apart, and the heel of the blade on mine comes to a recurve point that I'm not sure is intentional--I've been meaning to grind it off for safety but keep forgetting to).
