Anyone using Whet stones in their sharping?

Hey y'all, growing up as a young hillbilly in WV, Dad taught me how to sharpen on what he called a whet rock. A little motor oil and away we went. Sharpen on the medium side and knock the burr off on the fine side. Then off to the strop I go.
I've been doing it that same way for about 50 some years now. (Dad taught me when I was 10)

That's about the size of it! Lol. Only thing about that is many guys want to try anything and everything. Different steels etc.

Yeah, sorry, this time I misread. :) And yes, the company you posted is the maker, I can remember now.
