Anyone want to give me a knife?

I'll take for free any Strider, Sebenza, Busse, Swamp Rat, Benchmade, Spyderco, William Henry......................
 
I'm thinking this thread must be related to a "psychology" class termpaper to study reader responses to an unusual request. I'm waiting for the punch-line!

This is not a term paper experiment or anything like that. Just be being honest and asking for a free knife. Mike stepped up and is sending me one. I don't want to take more than one knife but again thanks for the offers.

You can count on me giving back when I can afford it.

I am going to be bold "and hijack" this thread. I have been trying to trade for a decent plain edged one hander for a while as I don't have one. Apperantly what I have to trade isn't very desiriable. Anyway if their are any unused onehanders out their let me know and maybe I could trade you out of it.
 
You got that right. :D Also, in my previous post I ment a folder that isn't being used, not a unused"new" one.
 
Wow, it's really like family here. So nice of you all to offer him your knives. I know I go on sprees like that; giving away knives. In the past month I've given away 2 CS Recon 1 Tantos, 2 Benchmade folders and one Spyderco. What's my problem? I'm out of knives (not really). I come from a music background and nobody ever even lets you borrow their stuff (of course we're talking big money) let alone giving it away. Way to go guys.

Lots of integrity, SAKguy. You asked, got a knife and didn't get greedy after other offers. Not to get on a soapbox, but that is a world of magnanimity on your part. It's nice to see at a time when people want to take more than give. Cool. :thumbup
 
This thread has it's own special feel, like being home for Christmas ;)

....and if any of you want to send a Spyderco to a nice decent home where it will be carried regularly, oiled weekly and treasured, I always have room for one more :D

I'm from Hungary.I had a very nice Centofante III,but someone stole it on this summer.If somebody wants to send me an other one,I would be very happy. ;) I would be a very good dad of the knife.

Thanks Hateman. I really appreciate the kindness. I remember doing a trade with you in the past but heck if I can't remember what for :).

Yeah, too much greed in the world today. You all have my word that I'll be giving back here as soon as I can.

mike_mck2, I really appreciate the Atlantic Salt. Since I don't have anything but SAK's right now, that Atlantic Salt will become my EDC. I have never had one before but always thought they were cool. Plus...they are sheeple friendly due to the blade shape.

No way that I'm ever getting rid of this Atlantic Salt after this. It's a special knife to me. I can't wait to get it. When I do I'll be sure to post some pics of her. :)

I cannot afford to buy any knives right now so I figured I'd ask.

It's not an emergency or anything good like that. I don't "need" a knife at all. I have a couple swiss army knives that I carry and that's all I have.

I am not at all playing like I'm really poor or destitute. I just would really like to have a folding knife that I can open with one hand (like a Spyderco I guess).

You can laugh at me or tell me to screw off. I figured I had nothing to lose by asking.
