I would be glad to join in, but sice I live in the Netherlands, shipping would be rather expensive for you in the US of A. I have a few CRKT's I do nothing with. And a CS Scimitar. So if there's someone who really needs a knife(please no dealers) you can have them if you pay for shipping.

CRKT: Kasper folder, little,CE AUS 6
Lightfoot M1 Plain edge AUS 8

Only the Kasper and Scimitar have little spots on the blade..

Having watched this thread from the begining I can say in all honesty, I am very, very proud to be a member of a forum with this large amount of selfless, giving and generous members.

You guys restore a little bit of my faith in mankind.

Don't mean to be a thread necromancer, but I just wanted to say that right after I finish this post I'm going to the post office to mail John his Spyderco Centofante III, just so he knows...

I'm a big believer in the benefit of the doubt, so here goes: "SAKguy" isn't a super-creative name, and the email addresses in use are different, so maybe it's a different guy and purely coincidental?

That's the best I can do so far...

Nope, same guy. I'm just curious why after such an initial favorable impression he seems to be letting it go. I have been interested in these SALT's but dont have any stores that stock them around. Are they OK?, was there something he didn't like after using it awhile?

And it started out to be such a great thread, showing off the kind of people we have on this forum. At least that hasn't changed though. Despite the sale, still a good group of people.

Course it ruins if for the those who have never been given a knife. I got a knife from a friend for house sitting a few weeks. Gerber paraframe. Lock doesn't work, blade is bent, serrations are terrible but I still kept it. It was a gift that says thanks for your help.
 
I just got a knife in the mail. It was sent to me by spydutch. It is a CS Scimitar. It's an awesome knife by far the best quality knife I currently have.

If someone wanted to spend the energy, I think they could start a new thread in the passaround forum.

a little organization would be good too, you could even do a round robin where everyone send a knife to the next in line.
