Anyone want to give me a knife?

I was reading this thread from the start and my emotions have been on a roller coster ever since. LOL! At first I was kind of irratated that someone was begging online like that. Then I was pissed off that other people started in on the begging. Then I was disgusted that the beggers were actually getting free knives from generous people. Then I was jealous that I wasn't getting anything for free and I have never got anything for free. Then I was touched by the kind people on BF that were more than willing to give to others. Then I read about SAK Guy selling the knife that he was given and I was pissed off all to hell. Then i found out it was okay and I was fine.

The funny thing is, I made an offer on that free Atlantic Salt and almost got it.

If you look over at KF you will see that SAKguy gave away the Atlantic Salt for free with another trade.

Some lucky dog traded a couple Schrades for his Queen and he threw in the Atlantic Salt free.

I'm not sure what you're all bitching about.

I don't think anyone is. I'm one of the people who gave away a knife to one of those 'beggars,' as it were, and I'm glad I did it. It was a good knife, nothing spectacular, but I wasn't using it, and if someone would like it for a user, I had no problem with them having it. I would prefer that they not sell it, at least not immediately, but after I gave it to the guy, it's his property, not mine.

Free knives are bad luck, one should at least change a coin(a nickle, quarter, whatever) to seal the deal.
An old knife tradition.
But I'd say there are alot of generous good people here for offering-entertaining as heck too!

I've done that before. Had to give a penny.

I charged for shipping, so I'm good.

Laceration, my advice is not to ask for anything in particular- or if you do, then ask for it in the Pass Around instead.

I solved the riddle! Don't believe it check out the Trade forums on this forum and the other forum. Same guy, different name, trying to get rid of the same knife with the same description, per batem. Man, what a WACKO!!!!!!!!!!:barf:

:barf: All anyone has to do is look at all your past post and then look at SAKguy's post and see who's on crack! Both of "you" live in Ohio, drive a Ford and a Honda, have the same job, post the same post, edit your Trade post because I called you on it, have changed your name in past, first it was fishers of men, then SAKGUY, now it's Sledgehammer???????????? David, seriously, you need help, you are nothing more than a TROLL!!!!!!!! Are you gonna go and change and edit all of your other post too??????????

Fishers of men? IEEEEEEE!!1 I thought that guy was suppose to go away and never come back.

Well, he came back under two new pseudonyms! Unbelievable audacity! Then asks for a free knife, at which point he gets banned form the Spyderco board because he blew up like a small child. You would think that the gent would get a life????????????;)

I was offered a free knife once not too long ago but they never got back to me. I gave a knife away to a friend who asked for one. But asking for free knives from "almost" strangers ?!! WOW.

Did I mention that I have no shame...send me some steel people. I'll accept all polite offers through email.

Stay good everybody.
