Beautiful P!!!!!!:thumbup: Since I got my Kephart, Bark River has my new favorite brand for high end production blades.

Here's a great one from Karl Andersen. I love being able to take it down when cleaning or storing it. I actually used this as my whitetail knife last season. It shows absolutely no sign of usage though :)

Very nice LH. I like Karl and his knives. I have handled about a dozen of his and am always impressed. Karl has the take down process worked out.

Some little utility knives. I enjoy these little guys. Kept a couple myself, the rest went to a good friends collection.

Wolfgang, thank you for posting these. I have long admired your work and get a certain amount of excitement when I see them posted. It was also very nice to meet you three years ago at the Guild Show in Ky. I am happy that you posted them here in our little corner of the forums.

Thank you Chris. This is really the only section of the forum I frequent. It is for pleasure, I love traditional knives. I am thankful for all the knowledge freely given here, I have much to learn about this type of knife. Looking forward to making some slipjoints for my own collection in the near future.

I don't mind posting, but I don't want to step on any toes. Though I have made a number of traditional fixed blades, almost all of them would be considered collector pieces rather than using knives. Not sure that is appropriate or permitted here.

Mr. Loerchner,

I just mentioned on another sub forum here how nice it would be to see some examples of your work.
Thanks. :)

Not to worry. "Collector piece" or "user piece", if they are traditional patterns, they can be posted in the Traditional Forum.

:eek: Good grief Wolfe! Those are gorgeous and I for one am thankful you posted them!

More details please! :D

Ok, great. A couple more. Both persians, one in mastodon ivory and one in jade. The jade piece was a long, long time in the making. Lynton mc Kenzie did the engraving just before his death. I just finished the knife early this year.
Please excuse the text on the photos, they are pages out of my book. I don't want to fool with Francescos photography.
I am planning on a version of this in a slipjoint.

Beautiful Persians Wolfgang. Having made a couple knives with just files and hand tools my mind has trouble wrapping around what you do. Thank you for sharing them.
