Yes, I love deer/venison. I hope to be lucky enough to get a few this coming year. I am not a good hunter, I wasn't brought up to hunt. However I have a friend who is a very good hunter who is going to teach me this coming season. Speaking of that, would guys recommend a Izula or an RC-3 for processing? Or is there something else you prefer?

i imagine that the RC3 would be a good knife to process deer with. i know how you feel with venison. my grandpa was an avid hunter and fisher. and when he would get back from an outing he would call us up and say "do you need and meat?" i swear we must have gotten hundreds of pounds of meat ranging from salmon to venison sausage. if i was to check my freezer i could probably dig some up. :D

I agree, the RC-3 is probably my idea of a PERFECT whitetail knife. RC-4 is right in there as well.

As is tradition in Germany, we'll have the main part of X-Mas tonight:
a festive dinner with the family, unpacking presents, fooling around and getting drunk.

Tomorrow we'll be at my parent's place, and the day after tomorrow we'll be at my SILs place. More food and drink ...

Merry Christmas to you all!

As everyone prior metioned LK do christmas right!!
How are you liking the stainless steel nalgene bottle?

This fenix is rock'n my world but this stock sheath is kind of lacking
The sheath is very tight; I find it hard at times to pull the light single handed, It also takes effort to resheath the light. When secured in the sheath the velcro flap flips directly over the top of the light but leaves the sides open; I havent had to pick the light off the ground but the tail of the LD20 slides to the side and is free to fall. It would also be nice to have a place to store the red nightlight cap as well as the defuser wand.

Well that was a fun morning!

Wow, I'm jealous. I cleaned my kids room this morning :barf:. 2.5 hours later I can move on to giving baths and getting them ready to go out tonight.

Ouch. I thought kids were free labor? Go Texas chain gang style on them...before you know it they'll be singing hymns and the rooms will be clean!:D

EOTech and Magpul goodies, my kind of guy! Don't see a lot of Sabres.

Thanks. I looked long and hard prior to laying my money down on that AR. I wanted something that was nice, but wouldn't cost me my arm and a leg. I love my Sabre.
