OK, so I happened to drive by the town's best liquor store on my way back from a fishing hole today and decided to grab a bottle of above-average bourbon for graduation celebration. Of course, I couldn't help but pour myself a sample after getting home. This stuff is definitely noteworthy.

Got a bottle of W. L. Weller "limited edition" barrel proof stuff. It cost a pretty penny, but I'm only graduating from this damn school once, so I'm getting myself a damn good drink for it. Anyway, this stuff is simply incredible. I mean, as in, angelic choir every time I take a sip good. At 134.8 proof, I was expecting to have to cut it with some water, but this stuff is SMOOTH. The finish isn't even that hot. It's smoother than Maker's or Jack by a long shot. I never knew bourbon could be like this. Haven't had a wheated bourbon in a long time either, and this stuff has reminded me why I love it so much. Simply amazing.

It's going to be a bit difficult to save the rest of the bottle for graduation time :D

Mr Shotty, if I could email you a shot of this stuff to ease your mind from the school district BS you're dealing with, I would.

Why this truency thing is even an issue, when the parents where there to vouch for the kids before and after, is beyond me. And why a parent can't just walk into the attendance office and say 'my kids were fine' and have the truency negated is unbelievable. More proof that the government owns you and your children...

Mrs S, if they give you any more crap about it write an editorial in the local newspaper... tends to make shit happen fast.

would you turn green and start smashing things?

I'd turn a deep shade of red and scream and yell and say things that would probably cause me to be kicked out of the school. Ask me in chat tonight about the time I had it out w/ the asst. prin at Kaela's old school.

paaalease! we've been married almost 10 yrs (been together almost 12). I've seen you drunk 2x's! 1. our wedding and 2. the night you were making carpet angels (which was friggin hilarious. you were fun that night!)

Had to get drunk to go through with it huh.......:p

Just read the B.S. school report Mrs. S. All I can say is wtf. I didn't know that was a crime. When did that become a crime? Stupid society sometimes. I wonder what we should do if my daughter misses home school? I guess charge ourselves a fine.

heh, I bought a bunch of stuff this week on ebay and payed for it in one foul swoop via paypal. after defaulting my new address and bank account, and making sure they were selected, I confirmed the transaction. After the transaction went through i got a confirmation email saying paypal used my old bank account (costing me more than 230 dollars in overdraft fees alone) and sent all the crap to texas. I haven't lived in texas for almost a year... this isn't the first time this has happened, and paypal has no customer service. when I say that, I mean go to their website, click on email-it's a 10 question list of FAQ's, you can select one and they auto email you the FAQ answer. They have community forums too, where 15,000 people every day post their issues on the forums because they can go nowhere else with it-and every day, paypal deletes these posts so the next morning it looks like they never had a problem. how sweet is that?
