Happy Easter, I was hoping to wake to find a RP# but I shall fear not and wait another week, hell Ill wait a month or year if I have to
 
ya, I was eating a game hen slow cooked in a real yummy idaho red wine and seven up... easter dinner takes precidence over RAT chat! although I didn't want to miss the conversation, based on some of the threads that were posted today...
 
Completed that bushcrafters handle this weekend! :D

Laundry taxes FAFSA college ap, spring cleaning, job applications, job followups, doctor's appointments, pay bills.
 
Happy Easter! We just came in from our traditional fire, best day for it today, it rained yesterday.
 
Taking a short overnight in a couple days. Girlfriend wants to go despite the rain. Should be interesting. :) Anyways, was loading out, and noticed I could outfit half a freaking army. I hate packing for short hikes, makes it harder to justify dragging a bunch of stuff along. :) Picking 3 knives is just about impossible. I'm kind of excited, should be a good test of myself in miserable weather. Getting fire ought to be fun with soaked materials.

So far got the knife list down to a couple SAK's, gerber multiper, 2 izula, an RC6, RC5, BM griptillian, and a couple lite machetes. (for the two of us) guess I could unload the BM and the SAKs....
 
I need some new boots and since summer is coming I'd like to get something specifically for hot weather. I was thinking some jungle boots or desert boots with the vent, but will I get wet if I walk through an inch or two of water?

My fairly new Timberlan PRO boots ($120) are about two years old and one of the soles has a big crack right along the middle from left to right:thumbdn: The Timberland boots I had before that lasted about 6 years before the leather wore away from the steel toes, the soles were fine though..

um, are you seriously asking if vented boots will leak water in from the sides?
 
Well, here's a new one.
I haven't heard word one from ARAK, not here, not PM, not email - since he tried to depth charge my sale thread and I offered him a refund if he would just ship me back the knife.
I've got an email from PayPal - he's disputing the sale through them and so they've pulled the purchase and shipping price out of my account.
WTF?!? -- I don't see anything to dispute. He said he's not happy, I told him I'd give him back his $$ if he would just send me back the knife. I don't have the knife back and it's been 2 weeks since he took delivery.
