You can actually speak to a person, by calling their number. Search "contact paypal" in the search box and click "Speak to us-Call Paypal"

You'll be redirected to a page and you'll be given a 6 digit number you'll need to plug into the phone when asked for. After that, a human will speak to you

Even though paypal has yet to successfully help me in a good way, you can always try..

That sucks Payette, sorry to hear. I've always heard so many complaints about eBay and Paypal it really makes me wish that I had the programming know-how to make a new company. Think about it, eBay is years old (created 1995!) and flooded with spammers and knockoffs. They're anti-firearms which alienates a lot of people and they suck at resolving issues. Paypal also sucks since it takes out so many fees.

What other company is out there to compete with eBay? I don't know of any other auction site like eBay that covers so many different products. Not just product specific auctions like gunbroker.com or something.

I'd really love to see a new company be developed and I think there is huge potential. To me, eBay is outdated with terrible support and poor website design.

Sorry, I've gotten 2 hours of sleep in the past 30 hours. Not sure why/how I'm awake or even functioning. I've had these thoughts for a while and am just ranting.

no, i agree... they have a completely unreasonable monopoly, they've grown to a point that they're so big they're a necessity to everybody so they don't have to give a rat's ass about customer support.

yur on the wrong side o' the country there, pal.... I think we're all beat. I had a real shitty day... I'm about ready for some beer, an elk steak and some Gunsmoke.

lol yeah 3 people in chat is odd at this hour to say the least, and what about a giveaway kyle? :D

well you shot yourself in the foot on that one, no one to blame but yourself.

on a side note i pwned my friends at pool and air hockey today, :D skillz that killz :D  ;)

I was running malwarebytes before defragging my harddrive - periodic maintenance type stuff.

I went camping last night, it was just too nice to stay at home. Got to the lake about 6:30PM last night, chopped up a bunch of firewood, set up camp, and by then it was a bit late for fishing. Watched the fire burn for a while, then went to sleep. Got up and broke camp at 6:30AM so I could get back home with time to get a shower and get to class by 9:00 AM.

The weather this week has been hell on my schoolwork!

i had a simillar thing with paypal where the seller sent me some crap that did not even come close to the description but said it was on me to figure things out,

the seller claimed he 'copied' the description from the manufactures website so it wasnt his exact words, therefor my fault for assuming the description was real.
paypal sided with the seller,
bullshit.

end rant.

Kinda like one of the many knife merchants online that has an Endura Wave 4 listed as having a gut hook and claimed that it was taken right from Spyderco's site...tools.

hell yeah! way to go RB. See, people complain about not being able to get out, but if you keep your bag packed and gear maintained, you can just grab and go after you're done with work or school for the day. That's my kind of camping!

Hell yeah PR. A friend of mine got me to do an overnight during finals week last December. I'm still kicking myself for not starting this earlier. My gear is almost always within about 15-20 minutes of being ready for a trip. I've had lots of days where class didn't start until after 11:00AM, why not do some camping if you've got the whole morning to get back to campus? Great stress reliever.

Those guys in W&C are to easy (read "Emails from an asshole")

PS. Kyle you owe me 20$ for that. ;)

California just got rough and tumbled for a good 45 seonds, I thought i was dizzy, then i noticed the whole damn house was shaking. Not too violent, but it took its time stopping.

Looks like there was a 6.9 in mexico, and two 4.somethings up north in santa rosa area.

Anyone else feel it? God I hope my ESEE's are sharp, we might be spending the next few days swimming back to shore if we slide off the plate :D

yeah man same here it felt like a circle, not the normal type, i was sittin down and thought "is the house shaking?" then i was like "GET TO A DOOR!"

It was a 2 shower day here. And I need to grow backa lot of hair on my right arm.
it was one of the extremely rare days when we didn't even have a breeze, so I went out to burn my soon to be garden area - then the breezes started. About the time I got things under control, the breeze changed direction. Things got interesting, but I got my back burn started before it go too bad. There's nothing like the sight/sound of a 10' tall cedar immolating itself. (my 300 sqft burn turned into about 2 or 3 acres worth...)
After working with the fire & aftermath cleanup was done, I got to spend some time "field" testing my M43 khukri -- I was a bit disappointed in the performance on the first tree I limbed until I realized it was an Osage Orange. Honey Locust was nowhere near the challenge. :)
