Anything goes three...The trifecta of stoopid goes on.

Greetings from Florida, beaches! I'm here for the annual family reunion for the next week w00t!

Enjoy it... any black balls of oil on the shore? It's been almost two years since I lived in Florida... don't miss the humidity, but every once in a while I get a pang for the bayou life and swamp ruckin', and the beaches full of scantily clad hammered college girls...

that beach shot reminds me of a conference I went to last year on Amelia Island, FL...was really nice. Hope you have a lot of fun!

I am supposed to leave for FL at the end of the month; plans now need to be changed due to the fact that the semester is beginning earlier than normal.

The humidity just ain't worth it. The Air Force just called, said they found my life's belongings that the Military Movers lost three years ago when I moved from San Antonio to Eglin. There's a 200 dollar humidor in there filled with at least as much in cigars that are probably shot... probably 200 dollars worth of weight training supplements, a 200 dollar MSS sleeping bag set, my old ALICE pack and all my old camping and survival gear, a closet's worth of clothes, 3 SOG SEAL Pups (back when they came in AUS8) a couple of old Camillus combat utility knives, a wetsuit, fins, BC, snorkel, goggles, Howard Hill Big Five bow... shit. It's gonna be like Christmas in August, though I've replaced most of it already. I hope that humidor was worth the 200 dollars I spent, because it sure would be nice to light up a 3 year old Acid Blondie this week.

Weight Training Supps???? You on dat der Cell Tech brah?

Used to take a nice muscletech stack, it was good stuff. I think it was NitroTech and creacic, gackic and leukic or however the heck you spell em. I gave it up for milk. rare red meat and tuna-it was cheaper and tasted a hell of alot better. This will be like a time capsule to back in the days when I was 17, heh. Good stuff.

I just got my ESEE-5.

I think the knife is a lot sharper than my Busse. (both @ factory specs)

I love this knife <3

I'm glad I'm going to be gone for the next three days-There's already 2 pages solid on rants about the HEST folder and it isn't even open for preorder yet....

i just saw the announcement about ESEE donating 100 arrowheads for a BFC membership drive. way to go ESEE

i almost reserved a hest folder... my rp#'s still available. i didn't because i know i'd never use it... i'll wait and get the production folder, and use it daily.

Just found out I didn't get accepted into my engineering program for the fall.

I'm super bummed right now, kind of at a loss for what to do...

...kidding. if you're smart enough and dedicated enough things will work out okay. my sister wanted to follow in my footsteps and major in computer science but my school rejected her application. she instead went to nursing school and six months after graduation she's already making as much money as i am but it took me freaking 5 yrs worth of hard work and hard-earned raises! it's funny how things work out.

Thanks guys.

I've already been in contact with the dean of admissions and there may be a few spots open in a program that I'm not interested in. But if I do a year of it, and my grades are high enough I can appeal to transfer to a program I want. It's nice to hear there is some hope but it's been a rough trip so far.

My first year I had to leave halfway through my second semester because of mono. I was so sick I could barely get out of my bed for about 5 months, and slept 15+ hours a day. So I had to redo half of my courses the following year when I recovered. And now here I am two years later, supposed to be 2 years into a degree, but just finishing one.

I'm trying to keep my hopes up is all, keeping busy with my summer course and spending lots of time in the garage doing random woodwork things... Crazy how fast plans you thought were so set in stone can be completely comprimised eh?

As for a backup plan, I would be taking another year of general studies. Unfortunately I've exhausted my options for complementary studies electives so another year of that would mean random courses that don't help my degree, but if I have to I guess I have to
