Well after all the talk I finally went out & bought a 1911. Threw down the cash & bought a Springfield Armory TRP. Haven't had a chance to shoot it or even get pictures but the are coming.

nice! which one? i have the fixed sights and no rail. it's almost 2 yrs old already and very happy with it.

It's 30 miles away (one way) and I do not know anybody there :o

I'm a hermit (love to stay inside my house and watch TV and read the forums) so getting out would be good for me.

the party is going to be fun, i'm driving 240miles one way to be there. the shotgunners are alot of fun and nice folks. come hang out with us!

Hanging out with the Tx ESEE folks is fun - I drove 700+ miles to go camping with them -- twice!
