April 2026 BOTM - 112 S35VN Long Pull Drop Point, Barehead Marbled Carbon Fiber, Pocket Clip

I'm curious is Buck still doing a special BOTM for May the 4th, that's what I'm holding out for right now
I'm not sure that would be a sound business move...
They had the Stealth #14 offering last week, the BOTM today and having the May BOTM on the 4th would make three relatively expensive offerings in about a three week time span.

It's funny. Before I started collecting knives, there would be no way I'd ever consider paying more than like $50 for a knife. Now, I dropped $225 like it was normal.
Back in 1970 I bought an Uncle Henry stockman at a truck stop, and I remember thinking, "Man, I hope my wife doesn't find out that I paid $15 for this thing."

I'll admit, this one is really tempting. I like just about everything about it, but I'm still holding out for a 112 Slim Pro or Select in Magnacut or S35VN. It's bound to happen sooner or later. And carbon fiber scales would sure be nice, too. :)

I think I was able to get a 112 slim select in black g10 with a s35vn off the exchange. Pretty sure it was not a special run. My grail would be for a 112 heritage slim with drop point, finger grooves and nickel silver, one can only hope. I am enjoying my clip point 112 in micarta and Magnacut and finger grooves.

Well.... They did! Soooo I'll be looking out the window waiting for my new Buck! I haven't bought a 112 for a long long time..I swore to myself I would order a new CS when Buck finally added a drop point.. BUT I think Buck will forgive me..
I personally think that this will be one of the few recent BOTM resellers will do ok on. Because it's tax time and the economy is a little shaky is the only reason it hasn't sold out quickly. 500 in the run is still a decent amount but it will be a sellout.
I'm still a Buck collector just not active. The long nail pull IS a good reason to get this and is why it has My 241.47 votes. And I LIKE looking out the window...

I did order a custom last time they had 20% off customs. Burgundy Linen Micarta, brushed nickel bolsters, S35VN, drop-point - $166. Don't have it yet. They should make barehead an option.

Since somebody mentioned May the 4th, how cool would it be one of these years, for Buck to obtain some metal from NASA or SpaceX or somewhere from a recovered rocket or booster or some such, something that had actually been in space, and use it for part of the knife? Like some aluminum bolsters or some such. That would be the coolest May BOTM ever IMO. ;)
