April 2026 BOTM - 112 S35VN Long Pull Drop Point, Barehead Marbled Carbon Fiber, Pocket Clip

Since somebody mentioned May the 4th, how cool would it be one of these years, for Buck to obtain some metal from NASA or SpaceX or somewhere from a recovered rocket or booster or some such, something that had actually been in space, and use it for part of the knife? Like some aluminum bolsters or some such. That would be the coolest May BOTM ever IMO. ;)
It's not so far fetched. Buck did the tiny coin with the Statue of Liberty metal. Wood from the doors of Ellis Island. Some of the Browning Living History knives made by Buck had historically related wood handles. Others?

Some of the pictures Ive seen of the marbled carbon Fiber appears to have some random colors in the material like blue, red and brassy tones mixed in with the grey swirling. Is this what they look like in reality or is it the camera filters or lighting ? Thanks In advance!

I’ve seen a couple marbled carbon handles in hand but they looked plain in different shades of gray and black with a little bit of silver flash in sunlight but no random spots of colors . I know they had some that were random colors in the past but they were more obvious.

Like I said a few pictures of the last 110 and 112 looked to have a few specks and some swirls of blue or red or brassy/gold tones mixed with grey background. But not all of them. Im just curious why there’s such a variation and is there more than one kind of marbled carbon fiber material.

I just checked, and they're still there.
Will somebody please buy these things! The more I look at them, the more I like them.
I like the barehead.
But I'm how hum about the carbon fiber.
The aluminum 110 hunter carbon fiber is more appealing. But I don't like signed knives.

I'm still tempted. Seriously trying to curb my spending on knives and accessories for my vehicle. I do regret not getting the 110 version of this and am sure I will regret not getting this one.

Remaining: 11

They seem to be moving slow now with only 4-5 sold in the last 24 hours.

I, as do some others, enjoy having matched “sets” when offered from Buck. This is no exception, I am happy to have this 110/112 set.

I perceive the black marbled CF and nickel silver combo a refined, masculine, look and always value less common features such as this long pull nail notch.

As primarily a 110, and secondarily a 112 collector, when either model are featured as the BOTM it is an automatic buy for me.

As for reining in my spending on this little hobby, the best I do is to refrain for a month or so when I have spent too much. I am working on narrowing my focus but need to focus even more.

I cringe with the thought of dying suddenly and having my wife and daughter haul the whole lot to the thrift store as a donation. Of course, being dead at that point, I wouldn’t know. Pleasant thoughts.
