Just ordered Talon grips for my Kahr CW9. They are a stick-on rubberized grip of sorts. Was watching some youtube videos and someone was talking about them, so I googled em and for $11 shipped I figured what the heck, I may as well try them. I currently have one of the Hogue slip on grips on the Kahr, but it wears through them like crazy. Hopefully this will be a better solution to the very agressive texture on the Kahr.

Good morning.

Nice Wooly! I have always liked mannlicher style stocks....one of these days I gotta get one...I dig the Ruger No. 1s with mannlicher style stock

Thanks Thrill, me too. I think they have a very classy look and they swing and point well in the field. I also have a CZ 452 Mannlicher. It's one of my favorite small game rifles.

Ok, just checking here but is this just a thread where everyone pisses around and talks about nothing?...Cool

Pretty much Cam. We just blather on about whatever we feel needs blathered.

Dang youngsters....pissin whenever they want...I have to hang upside down just to to get my prostate off my bladder long enough to get the flow started.

THIS COOKIE SUCKS...

These oversized Tommy scales feel GREAT in me hands! I like em! Thanks for the contest brother.

Wow, that's a good looking rig Thrill. Would be proud of that too.

Looks like our plans are dashed again. Not a good time to be out of phone range.

Trade, that sucks. But it is better to err on the safe side. It would be bad to be in BFE if something happens.

So I am in the market for my first gun.
As soon as I get my stupid FOID card and some spare cash, I plan to buy a .22.
I want an American made bolt action with a tubular magazine. I'd prefer wood and metal, no plastic.
Any suggestions?

Thrill, that looks great. How much fatter are those sclaes verses the factory's?

Marlin..those lil marlin bolt guns shoot way better then their price would have you believe! If I'm not mistaken, Savage also makes a tube-fed bolt.
