Im watching ''The Way back'' on Netflix...pretty cool so far, group of men escaped a Siberian death camp, then hiked 4,000 miles to freedom back in the early '40s

Cool stuff

Yeah I saw that movie too. It was pretty good and it's incredible that it's a true story.

I can't imagine doing that, but the movie gives you a sense of what it would have been like.

That Becker Bayonet is amazing. Nice work. Next to that monster, every other bayonet looks weak and fragile.

1066VIC, Thanks man, thats actually pretty sweet, with the whole kit and everything still only 80ish and thats with a good sheath and firesteel and paracord and belt clip and the micarta.
Hmmmm might have one of these inbound asap. Not to decide if I need a fixed blade or a folder for edc. that battle has been raging in my head for a while now.

if you want to "try before you buy", PM me your address and I'll loan you one -- and yeah, the "kit" is worth the extra $10 when buying one.

you, sir are a modding god!!!

Looks great Murph. My BK14 bit me tonight. I was sharpening it and my son wanted me to cut a zip tie. Wasnt real sharp yet so I put a bit too much pressure when it cut the point caught the top of my thumb. Didnt hit bone or anything so we are all good ;)

Yeah Silverthorn, I highly recommend the Izzy 2. I freaking love mine.

I got the kit as well, if for no other reason than the boot clip. I usually wear mine IWB with the clip.

Psy, you gotta be careful man. The Becker ladies bite real bad if you don't pay attention! Glad it wasn't worse.

I'm taking a couple minutes break from cutting leather to make some food and check the forums.

Putting together a loadout and ran across this. I clean forgot about having this little knife. It's a Marttiini Black Lumberjack, a great little bushcrafter and I'm tossing it in.

It's like finding an old friend.
