The Mystery of the Missing Blade is Solved.

About 3 hours searching expended :p No wives or doggies sacrificed. The knife was buried deep, full horizontal, under a clump of grass completely hidden from the world but not to a metal rake. Thanks to my other neighbor for the use of the rake. At one point there were 7 of us out there looking. In the rain LOL

Great dedication man, no Becker left behind! Under a lake is allowed however.

Anyone else watxhing the mythbusters duct tape/island survival episode right now? Pretty awesome :)

Maxped, 5.11, and Condor all make excellent packs. I'm a Kelty guy all the way though for a hard use pack. I have a Kelty Redwing that I've used for years and it's still rockin. It's been rained on, snowed on, and run over by an ATV, and I still carry it on every hike.

Kelty or Kifaru - can't go wrong. The latter offers quick access bow/rifle carry too. The Kelty more grey man approach.

Neighbor's kid came back from Afghanistan today. We went over with a gift but she was dead asleep after 25 hours of travel. Good to have another soldier home safe.

Yeah, I am watching it now. Pretty cool.
I guess for future camping excursions, it is feasible to forgo all of the equipment and just pack a shit load of duct tape.:D

Sky, I don't know how you do this everyday... This is driving me crazy!

Also how do you take care of the edges? I can't figure out how to get them cleaned up.

Nice rifle Wooly! I picked up my first ever Ruger last summer and it's just a fantastic gun. Do you plan to hunt/compete with that one or is it a safe queen?

Brand new M&P in 9mm. Can't wait to hit the range!

Nice choice, I have one in .40 S&W. They shoot great once you fiddle with the trigger a bit. I've got over 1,000 rounds through mine and it has always functioned perfectly.

Its a great way to start a Monday with a contest win. Thanks again murph. Today is gonna be a good day.
